@@WHENWEDIE Why not? Extend him 2 years, start him but mentor Lock, see how things play out. Lock has a great arm but makes too many mental mistakes - he could learn a lot from Geno. Do we need to spend 20% of the cap on a QB when an above avg QB will get the job done? Spend money around him, build the D up, and win championships. Top end QBs will always make team’s competitive but hamstrings the team around him.

Idk why people are surprised. He always had the talent and arm strength. He was projected the #1 pick in his draft. The fact that he was on his phone and not paying attention during the interviews is what made him slide to the 2nd round.

That year when IK broke Geno's jaw hurt so much as a Jet fan cause he had arguably the most talented roster around him for the first time in his short tenure in NY. They just got Brandon Marshall who had an all pro season left in the tank and Eric Decker properly slotted as a 1B receiver. Alas, some people have to go through adversity to really find their true greatness. With that being said, I hope this channel blows up as you continue to put out this great content! As a Pats fan, the Jets most consistently gave the Pats a hard time under Rex, and they've been all over the place since him. I'd rather see the Jets be good and competitive than Miami, and maybe even more than the Bills. The Bills have had opportunities and blown them.

@@docvader82 Rex Ryan was a defensive minded coach. So any qb that got thrown into his system was doomed to fail. And you add in the fact that he was coaching a team in NYC. They have some of the most die hard fans. So the pressure to win is always super high.
