But what really gave me goosebumps in real time was watching the greatest of the generation get him the ball and the bench going haywire even a too early night night (nuit nuit) how the team came together to get Chef the shots. Pretty incredible....One moment that stood out was the second or third three Steph made. Booker drove in, could’ve easily gone for a layup, but instead made an incredible pass out to Steph. When Steph nailed that three, Booker was flexing like he just dunked. (I wonder what Klay was thinking lol) LeBron was an absolute force throughout the Olympics. You two captured that perfectly. I remember turning to my wife, who was wearing a #30 jersey, while I had on my 'Everybody Loves Draymond' shirt, and I said, 'LeBron is the key to it all and was MVP.' She responded with, 'They don’t give MVPs at the Olympics.' But the way LeBron did whatever it took-his rebounds, his layups, like he was 25 again-was just amazing. And I’m saying this as someone who’s not even a fan, but a rival! Anyway, you guys were spot on with your analysis. By the way, I've watched the last 2:54 about ten times. Steph Curry is greatness was his MVP and here's how! When it counted most, Steph was clutch! Steph forced everyine to be a spectator with Curry's skillset! Steph surpassed the totality of LeBron James in ponits; which speaks to how much he was needed! They do not win the Gold without Steph Curry! Period! I'm sure Tatum and Edwards could have gotten 14pts and 4 turnovers, but LeBron LeBron was determined, but no one will remembet LeBron James MVP; history will not record it, meaning, remember it; it was not epic enough! Every Olympic from this point on will show Steph Curry launching 3's from everywhere, and over multiple defenders, and numerous of times! Steph Curry's play was so magnificent; which is his MVP!!! 60 ponits and 17 3's... in two games, for the win and the GOLD! No one else on the planet could have done it! It's the stuff dreams are made of...!! France will remember Steph Curry forever, because in real time, they witnessed Steph decimate and 20 million! And Steph command the attention of the entire WORLD and stadium as they cheered for him also! I don't even remember seeing LeBron James or KD, but to pass him the ball, and they step back watched! Everyone was watching Steph! the world was busy watching Curry with bated breath and anticipation, will he make the next 3, and everyone knew it would be a 3 point shot. France doubled Steph Curry, not James, and it didn't matter; much like the Boston series Steph was just as magnificent games 4 and 6. He carried the Warriors, and since before his first chip in 15. Remember what Steph Curry said, 'Don't worry about me', What will history remember?? I don't remember in 1978 who won MVP, but I do remember Dr J dunking, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Skyhook. Like everyone will remember Steph shooting skills! Every shooter will be compared to him for a long time; and every basketball player and kid that balls around the world we'll try to duplicate Steph Curry skillset! That is his MVP! That is his legacy! And it's been his legacy since he was chasing the 3 point record in record time!

About Lebron in those first 4 games. If you removed Lebron and just put Haliburton and White to run the offense, we still win those first 4 games. Those were blowouts that we would have won almost no matter what. We don't win either of the medal rounds without Steph going all-time great. Those were close games. We for sure lose to Serbia and France was tough in their home building. That makes Curry arguably more valuable. Now, you can say Lebron and I'm fine with that. To each their own, but to say it should not have been Steph is beyond stupid.

@@jonrussell739 He slowed down the heroic Lebron James! It is all about narrative. Curry was the MVP, obviously, that series. Iggy did a great job, but it was Steph's team, and if you removed one or the other, see you later Iggy. Again, it was just narrative about slowing down the mighty Lebron, or rather, making him more inefficient.
