How good is ChatGPT at A Level History?

I remember asking ChatGPT on the 17th century and one time I’ve asked about Henry Cromwell and apparently according to ChatGPT he was knighted by King Charles the second in 1661… EDIT: there is a way to generate different levels of a-level questions. For example you can have a low-grade essay or a high-grade essay on this.

hey man, any chance you could do videos on Edexcel a level history in search of an American dream 1917-80? I do South Africa 1948-94 from apartheid state to rainbow nation too but I was wondering if you could maybe do exam past paper walkthroughs on how to write the essays on them and to analyse? I’ve got my ppes in a few weeks and I’ve got the subject knowledge but I’m really struggling on essays and there’s not really any KZbin videos or any content online on my course. Sorry if this is too much to ask I understand if you can’t. Love your content a lot always helps

Is there any year in particular you would like me to do for each of them or are you happy with any year? I could do any other than 2022, which isn't available on the Edexcel website.

Can I use it to pre-mark my essays before giving it to my teacher?

I don't think it can pre-mark but it could be useful way to research a topic before writing!

@@mrgunnhistory yeah that makes sense. I gave in a 20 marker for Edexcel A-Level Geography. The mark was very high, and very useful for what info I could have added- that was the most useful part. I also use chatgpt to generate essay questions.

@@belindamary7816 That's a good idea. It's certainly a useful tool - I might have a think about the way it can be used for revision and make a video on that!

@@mrgunnhistory It has access to the specifications so the questions are really tailored and great. It generated 20 geo essay questions for me and after checking the specification: all spec points were covered. I think I’ll do essay plans for them to be prepared for exams!
