i use the OBDEleven, it is a great piece of kit. i've had allot of people use it for coding ect. i was watching the TT on copart today, was very little margin between what it sold for and the proclaimed retail value they put it on the website for. but none the less was a good deal if someone was willing to purchase it to keep

you should have put the sim card in your phone so you didn't have to depend on WiFi.

You can do data readouts and live data, not sure how it compares to Torque

Going to get this thanks. I have VCDS HEX+CAN but it doesn't support UDS, need latest cable for that. Also watch out for newer VAG models some of the modules have component protection

Easy way around the Wi-Fi issue if you can't get close enough to your house is to use the hotspot feature on your main cell phone

Simple answer, No. OBDeleven is good for quick diagnosis and pre-configured updates, but for long coding and support, VCDS wins hands down.
