No wonder why the PPS got nerfed pre-release, would've been broken on Bennett and I remember someone suggesting other non def scaling characters that could maybe use it as well, I think Jean was mentioned. It was nice to see it in action... NGL I might even do it just to mess with things

it was more likely nerfed because it'd be strictly better investment than getting Xilo's C2, PPS used to be 2/3 of the buff that C2 gives on average while costing a bit less than a single constellation, the cost obviously didn't change but now it's basically half the buff that C2 gives

I have R4 Peak Patrol for my Albedo but I'm getting tired of Albedo elemental skill getting destroyed all the time... I shall put this on my Benny then. :D

True Albedo's kit revolves around his Elemental skill, without it he's the most useless 5-star... He's not OP at all IDK why Hoyo won't fix him. @@samx23

to me his best weapon will always be favonius just one tap, and by giving him a lot of ER he always has his burst ready, not to mention that giving extra energy to dps is very valuable

Only bad thing is that you’ll be forced to normal attack on Bennett extending the rotation

This weapon is so flexible. However, u should remember that a support character having a good support weapon is almost never as good as ur main damage dealer having their sig weapon, if there is a specific team u want to boost. For example: having verdict on navia is better than having pps on xilonen, if u had to choose between the two. Pps is certainly better in value than verdict, but if all u care abt is making a certain character’s team feel good, pull their sig instead.

It would be great to finally have a sword that has stats and passive that are really benefiting Bennett. ... But not sure that it is this one even if in ideal conditions this can work (basically teams where doing 2 Normal attacks with Bennet is not a loss of DPS)

So, in effectivity, Peak Patrol Song buffs more but need the requirement of Normal Attacks to trigger the damage bonus, so C6 Bennett is required. And as far as the description of the passive effect of the weapon, it is not strictly grounded only on the signature character it belongs (like the Mistsplitter Reforged and Wolf's Gravestone). 😕 Hmmm, I think Hoyo needs to design more weapons and passive that can cater some old characters for utility.

C6 Bennett is not required, two Physical normal atk can also work to trigger the damage bonus :)

it says normal or plunge atack, not "infused" or something, so it works even on c0 benny

Meanwhile c2r5 xilonen can get over 140% geo damage buff with 100% uptime. For refrence, C3 furina with max fanfare crowned burst buffs just over 120%. Power creep much?

why does aquila and mistsplitter have different output damage if the only support that they both give to bennett is the base attack?

Aquila isn't used in this video. On the left is skyward blade, a sword with less base atk than mistsplitter, so less damage

no creo que el arma de xilonen sea buena en bennet principalmente porque el arma da bono de daño elemental creo que del 26% pero se necesita tener una defensa de 3 mil y si Benet no esta armado con toda esa defensa entonces se desperdicia ese buff

Yep but your Bennet has not 3200 Def... So you are not using 100% buff from weapon

Exactly, this shows that even without the maximum buff of the weapon it still performs better in terms of buffing your team dmg.

It’s pretty much impossible to get a full 3200 def on Benny while still meeting er requirements, but even at this level of Def, Peak Patrol Song is still giving 21.6% damage bonus.
