Two things I feel REALLY hamper the decorating system in this game is the difficulty placing items close to walls, and the inability to angle items. Lots of great things, but those two short comings really hamper my enjoyment decorating, especially inside houses.

It annoys me you can’t take stuff from the upper farm to the lower one, especially the flowers.

This is one of my big complaints. It took me 2 game years to breed out all the flowers. I don't want to have to do that for 4 farms. Right now I have my flower farm at my main farm and I've bred out a few flowers at my upper level barn/veggie farm. But we really should be able to make seeds at the garden bench once we've bred a certain flower color so we can use them on other farms. Hoping they will fix this.

I also would love to put things on tables, shelves, or almost anything with a surface like the display case. I am glad that something’s they let us change by crafting it, at the machine, and, I would like to upgrade it, by adding something to it, although,, you really swap it at a store for a more useful shelf. They should let us do that with all shelves and tables, if they do not let us be in charge of what goes on them. Sounds like the small empty shelf only has the purpose of a very high shelf, or to sell it at the market stands. Did that in my previous save file, when I crafted it it to get a useful empty shelf, where the flower shop will give me a shelf that has a flower on it. By the way, can we alter those colors? I would like to have a decor shop. This one you take them the item, and any items that you want on it, or if it is a craft in the house one You let them know what objects that you want things on, and what do you want on it, and where at on the surface. Everything has to be in your house. This could be wall stuff too. You can still move the surface item or rotate. Them. When hiring them they may do I thing at a time, or you may order the works. In fact, they may remodel the whole thing, and you give the exact layout. If you pay for that. Me, personally, I would only use them to put my own crafted items on my own surface thing, and move them where I want to. I would love more flowery plants and decor items. But what should we put it on. We already have an ugly stack of books on the floor taking up precious floor space. I love books, but I HATE them on the FLOOR. And that is one that we need in our house for our stats, since it is considered Cozy. But I see that large stack of books on the floor. Great, my livestock came in the house, and made my books fall onto the floor, and I just spent 5 hours organizing them I am now too tired to put them back where I had them. I am so tired, I NEED to go outside, AWAY from the books, and do some farm work or fight monsters in a dungeon. Much more relaxing in my book. No comfort or energy from them, but at least I can take out my frustration out on the monsters. As far as inspiring, I see those stack of books, and my brain It needs t go on that shelf, okay try display case, ok, let’s try table. I heard that I need the following: Carved Large Table, Desk, Round Table, Sideboard, Tall cabinet, Fireplace might have a mantle, Tall Clock may have a Surface, Display Stand, Large Bookshelf, Lots of possible surface areas, All I can do now is try and hide the annoying stack of books, Sines we can still move something, and even rotate it, maybe we may still be able to change color schemes of things. If we don’t like something, we can still reclaim something on the surface, area, but you would not be able to put it back up there without using the service, but it was probably more aft to center things. Most likely large square tables may be able to have 4 things, or 2 things plus a centerpiece, so a simple centerpiece. Even Animal Crossing does not allow those tables to have 4 plates or cups and a centerpiece. Maybe three things on a surface area. To be truthful, I would love to be able to design and put thing on shelves and tables myself. There is a vase, I would love to put flower or a bouquet in. I would really love to interact with mote than Sit down on seats And go to sleep. I do not even see me lay down on the bed. I am glad we will get more wall space as we upgrade, but I would love to have wall space for more things. On the sides of the house too. Maybe even in front, which might be windows that we could see from the outside. If an upgrade removes a or some wall decorations, they would appear Either in our storage or on the new far wall. By the way, how do you sit down on the floor or bathtub? I would love to play the harp, Look like I am painting, Appear to pick up a book, and read it at the stack of books or bookshelves , Gaze into the crystal ball, Write at the desk, Wash at the washbasin, Turn on the gramophone and dance to it, Smell flowers inside of the vase, Recite a spell in the Book Of Shadows, excuse me, Grimoire,. Look at the clock to see the time, Turn on and off lamps, Washing inside the bathtub, WE CAN be really smelly with taking care of our livestock, toiling in the hot fields, covered in miasma, killing monsters in the mines, plus actual mining. We need a bath to wash off all of the sweat, perspiration, and BLOOD. No wonder our romance suitors may not be very romantic. WE STINK, AND LOOK ALL BLOODY. We may even smell like miasma too.🤣😂 Laying Doen on the bed, but not always sleeping There are a ton of interactions that we could do.

You can place things on tables but you have to craft it on your table and have it in your pockets

Soooo how you put things on your table....that's limited to the items you make in the decorating table and you inventory items, like bug juice. So yeha that's how you put items on your tables. It's not from the normal decorating menu.
