How Good is the Road | Managua - SJDS 🇳🇮 Nicaragua

How easy is it to get from Managua to Sam Juan del Sur, the most popular tourist destination in Nicaragua? Is it okay to drive from the airport? What is the road like? How about bathrooms along the way? Gas stations? What if we are coming from Leon? Leon Bypass | Bathrooms & Stops and the Panamerican.

You can also stop at La Pasadita, which is at the turn towards Quisala/San Diego/Monelimar, very good quesillos there.

There is _ONE_ truck stop in Nicaragua now (well that I know of) - I have not been there, but Chico Reyes Rosas has - He did a video on in - Pretty sure it was out in the Malacatoya area and the video was about a year back. Chico's channel is all in Spanish, but well worth the watch...

Instead of going thru Diriamba I suggest you take a left by the police station and head into San Marcos. Once you get to the light you take a right and you’ll end up coming out in Jinotepe. Much better drive imo since it bypasses Diriamba which normally has horrible traffic.

Have you ever been to Guasacate? It’s my family spot. We always go there, find a nice hotel, spend a few days. My dad used to go there as a boy in the 50’s & 60’s.

I can't find a town or location of that name. The main street in Popoyo has that name, but I can't find a location with it.

Is 52 B the road leading to Playa Tesoro?

No. 52B is the major highway on the "loop". That's a four lane pristine highway. Tesoro is on a dirt path without a name.

I threw my dirty toilet paper in the 40 gallon blue barrel at the border . Turns out that was for drinking water , not trash * Cant flush the toilet paper there

Oh damn. Yes, barrels are "never" for that kind of trash as best as I know. It should be a small trash can next to the toilet. You shouldn't need to transport your TP anywhere, it'll go right wher eyou use it.
