Despite the 5-1 loss to Arsenal, i think it was a great example of what kind of monster l Gyokeres is. They had him man marked all game long, plenty of times having 2 defenders on him, Arsenal was scared of that man and i dont blame them. Even then, he almost made a banger of a goal.

To be fair to Gyokeres, Saliba & Gabriel have locked up Haaland, Kane & Isak before. There is a reason a lot of football fans are recognising them as the best CB partnership in Europe. As an Arsenal fan, I would love Gyokeres at Arsenal to be at the end of crosses from Saka or at the end of through balls from Odegaard would be a nightmare for the Premier league.

How am I the only one that sees he’s massively overrated? Just like Darwin Nunez. The guy puts up big numbers in a lower league and vs teams give a bunch of space in behind. He already failed in the prem. This season will be by far his highest scoring output of his career because he won’t stay with sporting. He’ll go to a better league and be stuck at 15 league goals. You don’t bounce around teams if they think you’ll get them 30 league goals in the prem
