I agree there's a peaceful way to stop the seal dribble by defenders, they can grab the ball using hands, and maybe if that spoils the game for the seal dribbler he may abuse by only doing this in the penalty area, for that there could be and exception for all handball fouls caused by a seal dribble within the penalty area are put on the half circle outside penalty area! this may be a dumb example but it rewards creativity within limits and erase that feeling unusefulness the defenders get when facing such a move!

Exactly. They did this to Neymar too and if I remember correctly he got a yellow card from the ref for throwing the ball above another player with a trick. That's ridiculous to me. Should defenders just attack players they can't stop? (The defenders are in constant threat of injury - either to self or opponent). It's the equivalent of the goalie holding onto the ball for too long. I feel like it shouldn't be banned for showboating, but because its overpowered and actually dangerous. If I put my foot up there to tackle, it's dangerous play, and if I use my head and we butt heads it's dangerous play. So you're intentionally keeping the ball somewhere (close to your head) that it's dangerous (for you) if I make a play at. You shouldn't be allowed to use the head to dribble. I say, 'while in motion you can take 3 consecutive touches on the head and/or shoulders max in the process of bringing it down and or changing direction, but more than that is an illegal dribble. If the next touch is on the thigh, it CANNOT be to raise the ball up to the shoulder level or above'

Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. The issue for me is not show boating but if a player can hold the ball on his head it’s almost impossible to take it without a foul. If you try to kick the ball it’s a foul for a kick towards the head. If you try to header the ball it’s a foul for a head but.

It shouldn’t have been banned for “showboating”. If that were the case, most, if not all celebrations would be. Taunting and showboating is not really cool, but it can be used to get in the opponent’s head. Even if taken too far, it’s still inside boundaries, even if morally gray. Easier said than done, but falling for provocations is on them. Nah, these people, most “footballers” or rather clowns are some of the most immature and irresponsible people that exist. They have a platform where they have found out they can get away with a lot of things and that’s also because many of the audience is also like them. Instead, the move should be banned I believe for two reasons: 1.- It’s similar to holding the ball between your legs, which has also been banned. Sure, you’re not technically holding it with the seal dribble, but it’s pretty damn close 2.- There are very few ways to defend against it. I can only think of charging him from the side or boxing him in. Even so, you can’t simply get in the way as it leads to obstruction and fouling. It leads to basically being able to defend only with fouls. You could make the argument that you can foul without ill intent, but accidents can happen. Risky play is risky for a reason. Another thing that you bring up in this video and I have always been a strong advocate for: referees and committees are FAR too lenient when it comes to ACTUAL fouls. How many people have had to step outside the pitch, be it momentarily or even indefinitely because of what is CLEARLY an intentional foul? Years of training and preparation down the drain, most of the times because of a freaking tantrum by what are supposed to be grown men. In my eyes, that’s not only a red card, but suspension for at least the same length the victim isn’t able to play. Hell, even banning them should be considered at that point.

In contrast, playing the ball like that makes it easy for one to be called out for a dangerous or risky play. Headers are also similar in that they can be quite dangerous. Remember when Messi had an injury for contesting one?

@@Dude_Online Nobody ever has possession of the ball on or over the field except a goalie holding it. A seal dribbler is just in proximity to a ball in space, same as anyone dribbling with feet. And a ball in space can be contested for. It's not obstruction if you're going for the ball and the opponent is not between you and the ball. If the opponent is under the ball, it doesn't matter where that ball came from, you have a right to the space the ball is coming down into. If that leads to player collisions, that's why they call soccer a collision sport.

Tbh, I don't think the problem is "disrespect" - it is that the move is a loophole in which the opposition has no way to tackle him without committing a foul. You obviously can't raise your boot to the level of another player's head. Unless he is inside the box, where the goalkeeper to snatch the ball off him with his hands, then the only way you can take the ball off him is to try to butt it away with your own head, which leads to the danger of players colliding heads (and serious injury). It's just a loophole FIFA had to close, or else every player would train themselves to do the same move and be invulnerable on the field, completely changing the game from one of kicking the ball to one of bouncing it on your head.

Shoulder checking should be enough, it throws off balance without being a foul. It's cheesy, sure, but he got surgeries and got shoulder charged because of his mastery with the ball. I wouldn't mind a limit on the terms of this tactic, but that kind of intent to harm should lead to permanent league suspension.

As a skill its really impressive, and I do not agree with people who said it's disrespectful. Ronaldinho dissrespected his opponents with his ball handling while he was in his prime and no one complained then. I guess it got to their ego that a kid is making fun of them, which shows how grown they actually are. But I do agree that as a tactic sholuldn't be allowed in a football like that. If you look how he used to use it it leaves very little space for opponents to try and take over the ball. And as he is controlling it with his head, they can't try to reach it with foot because it is a dangerous play, so they also have to try to take ball with their head - which will most likely result in yellow card and both players getting hurt because of such short window for action. If this wasn't banned we would saw it abused massively and changing football drastically. It would guarantee at least free kick every time someone uses it, and probably a card to a player who tried to stop it. So even he mastered it to perfection, from my perspective it was doomed from the start, and only caused him harm.
