What grade would you give the career of Reggie Bush?

If Reggie Bush hit weight room, on top of his speed he was pretty durable, then maybe he has 'different career trajectory'. LIke Robert Griffin Third was spoiled TRue Christian from Baylor university, if Robert Griffin Third hit weight room like Lamar Jackson Maybe his running style and passing would work out. Reggie Bush had so much acceleration and agility but his slim top frame, you know lot of players are kind of coddled and spoiled going from high school to college kind of lack drive or will to be grounded and humbled and say hey don't let hype get to my head, if I want to make it big in pros I gotta listen to my doubters and hear valid parts to improve my game which would be adding upper body strength. Like Drew Brees after he was injured he really hit weight room hard, he came back bigger stronger than ever. He knew that kind of body frame he had was his vulnerability but he fixed it. Like Lamar Jackson he worked on his accuracy, he hit weight Room, he didn't take nothing for granted, he wasn't arrogant but humbled and Ravens are great Coaching staff to lead way! Reggie Bush won Superbowl and He stood long time in league beyond expectations despite not being able to run in between 'tackles' but his catching and return ability kept him in. He is more like change of pace back or bring him in for specific downs like how Felix Jones was for Marion Barber with Cowboys or even recently with how Cowboys used Pollard . But I would say Bush was more talented and electric with agility and speed and stamina, no offense he was probably had more 'coddled' and 'spoiled' upbringing prevents him being fire lit under his ass to being hungry hit weights or add muscle to his frame which I think would change everything for him. Did u see hits he endured in NFL, his whole body flying off screen! Like one with Eagles by Sheldon Smith!

@@zabirozzi I give him a F based off his draft position and salary. if he was as good as they thought he would be, drew brees would have won multiple superbowls.

@@Mrcliff4 This aint the NBA. Just because Reggie Bush went to Super bowl and he was big reason for Saints going to Superbowl playing his scat back running back, returner catcher role. Then that reggie bush mold would be what saints look for in future with darrne sproles and alvin kamara. Bush was good pick. What busts of first rounders do often is weigh whole team down, make them lose. but Bush didn't make them lose, he just didn't fulfill big magnitude wanted which is fine since allows to open up take Peyton Manning , kurt warner take over Game Qb approach. I think saints drafted Bush because wanted balanced passing and rushing game, but Bush did not pan out, which you could say oddly ironically let Brees really explore go next step be like Peyton Manning quarterback type which he really wasn't but was developing and ball carrier who takes too many carries would hinder Brees from being face of league like peyton manning which he bame ironically thanks to Bush not panning out as full fledged runnin back with too many carries. this is problem today with your mentality, Bush helped Saints go to super bowl and, he did play role in saints winning, bush not living up to his draft status allowed Brees to throw more which in this situation worked out great. Bush did not hinder Saints, because Bush helped saints win super bowl in his limited role wasn't cry baby, you can't say he is bust. Saying Bush is bust is why this is sign of days of judgment, selfishness, promoting egotistical players at expense of team, we have too many of those ruining sports. Most 1st picks of draft they hurt team or cost team wins or set them back, here the setting saints back means that drew brees has to take over game more passing more, which worked out well and became permanent Fixture , before brees wasn't throwing all out, like with chargers it was balanced offense with Tomlinson stud. But Tomlinson was total package, had burst, and Ninja turtle power break tackles.

10,000 all purpose yards and 56 touchdowns, and the inspiration for a super bowl victory is a fantastic return on a 2nd overall pick. i love reggie, he married a girl from one of my home areas in LA, glendale, whom i knew since we were kids. theyre wonderful people and he never made excuses, he worked hard and earned everything. i like your presentation so please take my subscription, cheers and merry christmas!

Reggie was ahead of his time, but if you look at Kamara it’s almost Reggie 2.0

bush was before his time in the nfl. if he played today he'd be dominant just like a CMC is.

Reggie Bush had a solid NFL career, known for his versatility as a running back and return specialist. He was a very good player in college, so I still say he won the Heisman Trophy award. Once he entered the NFL, he didn’t reach superstar status as some of his peers; because of all of the hype he received in college. He only rushed for over a 1,000 yards three times in the NFL with the Saints, Dolphins and Lions. He played in the league for 11 seasons before he retired. Then, he jumped into his broadcasting career and doing so well for them. Finally, he was considered one of the greatest college players in his era, so he was better than some of his peers in his draft class.

Reggie was a true scat back. He was never going to be the work horse as far as carrying the ball and tiring out the other team through the game. He was a jr. Faulk or Tomlinson and had a decent NFL career and amazing collegiate career.

Reggie Bush was Drafted and then next year Saints won a Superbowl So Reggie Bush is not a Bust . So you cant says he didnt live up to expectations since ultimate expectation is winning the superbowl , being team player doing your role which Reggie Bush did. OF course Reggie Bush didn't replicate like what he was in College since everyone in NFL is fast but stronger ! At least Reggie bush won superbowl, was team player not whiner , he did his role contributing to teams overall performance and won superbowl. So Reggie bush is not a Bust, since he was a returner ,a running back and pass catcher from backfield. In college at USC Man Reggie Bush was literally FLASH, his agility, speed, acceleration, he was man amongst boys. But u go into professional lack of power to his game , he couldn't exploit his speed and outsprint everyone since he lacked power or physical stature to break many tackles upon first hit.

@@zabirozzi while I understand where you’re coming from as of course the goal is to win a Super Bowl, Bush was far from the focal point of that team, he played a role yes but ultimately the Saints most likely can make a run without him. Falling below expectations to me means he didn’t live up to his (while unrealistic) hype. No one is saying he was supposed to replicate what he did in college as that is borderline impossible for the vast majority of players, but when you’re drafted as the 2nd overall pick you’re expecting a game changer as opposed to a role player/scat back. Not living up to expectations and being a bad player are not the same thing
