People still don’t understand MJ…The only reason MJ was losing early in his career is because he was solo going against stacked/elite teams…despite the losses he was clearly the best player on the court. If Jordan had just 1 all-star on his team in the 80s (Barkley, Malone, Wilkins,) He would’ve beaten the bad boys, Celtics, and Bucks every time. During the first 4 games of the 1998 finals pippen was 20 points 7 rebounds 3.5 ast per game and took alot charges in the first 4 games and was by most to be the MVP of that series until he went to 2 for 16 from the field in game 5 and in that game that's when pippen back first starting to act up and in game 6 he was limited to 25 minutes his back went out when he dunk in the first quarter against the jazz. Scottie was playing hurt in the 1996 and 1997 finals and back started back acting up in game 5 of the 1998 finals and in game 6 he could not run up and down the court at all. He gutted it out in the second half of that game but he could not run at all. All the injuries he had he had surgery in the off season in 1996 1997 1998.
