I saw him open up the side stage at a local show in Vancouver back in 2014 and it was my first big show, I did homework on all the DJs playing and he was one of the acts I was most excited to see, I fell off the bass scene for years and didn’t start liking it again until paradiso 2018 at the gorge, last year was my first time seeing Griz since 2014 and it was the most insane set I’ve ever seen in my life, so much soul and work went into that set and everyone in that crowd was just so happy it was the most surreal feeling being in the pit, I love you Griz, I will be front and centre for that first show back ❤

I saw Griz at Okeechobee. I proposed to my now pregnant wife. This was the festival I started my juggling flow journey. This was also my first time seeing Griz. Amazing music and amazing friends. I’ll never forget the lasers at Griz’s set….so…many…lazzzzzers ✌️

I grew up in East Lansing just down the road from MSU, and I remember sneaking into Montie House back in high school to go see Grant DJ and he blew my mind back then when I was just getting into electronic music. I have so many awesome memories of seeing Grant play at Macs and around EL! He is def one of my biggest electronic influences to this day! Your music has only gotten better over the years and thank you so much for spreading such a positive message! You really are a hero to a lot of people, myself included, so thank you for being you! I didn’t even know he was gay until this video lol it’s crazy how such a big deal it is for some people and that not everyone is accepting of gay people especially back then it was something that people were made fun of for, I just can’t imagine dealing such low blows to someone’s self esteem

@@PLFBEZ Yeah after a while I wasn't sure if PL would ever come back. I think GRiZ's situation is a lot different than PL's though, he probably just wants to chill for a while until he gets bored and decides to come back lol. I think I saw somewhere that he said he's still gonna work on music during his break, so maybe he'll drop some random stuff on soundcloud before he makes an official comeback.
