Can anyone explain to me why a original 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitar can sell for as much as or more than $500.000 ? I had one Les Paul Custom back in the 70s that had no ploblems and I'm saving up to purchase a Standard Les Paul.I won't Tim Evans to work on my guitar neck and Congrats on 43 yrs service!

Question? Why, oh why, do you persist in having those ridiculous fret nibs on the binding? I had to wait for over 30 years to be able to justify spending on a Gibson Flying V (we're not all millionaires). I had to send TWO Flying V's back to Gibson because they were not fit for purpose. One, the E string would slide off the neck and the other, the E string would catch between the frets and the nibs, all the way up the neck? Is you QA dept. that really careless or incompetent? Or conversely, do you just send your 'seconds/rejects' direct to the European market in the hope people will just put up with poor workmanship?
