If Epiphone could just hurry up and do an inspired by gibson custom explorer already that would be great. As it stands, i'll keep my old epiphone korina explorer.

Single channel, more reliable and easier to service. Channel switching amps usually need maintenance and care, that's all I know.

Ain't gonna happen, when any Gibson costs 2 times more in my country than in U.S. It's not the case with Japanese brands here in Turkey. I could think of getting a Gibson, rather than a Prestige, if priced fairly for us. I guess every guitar in the store will stay hang on their shelf forever now, nobody will/can buy Gibson here, sorry.
