@@JustinHawkinsRidesAgainHi Justin! I think Kirk’s a bit of a special case as far as metal is concerned. This is the guy who owns the famous Greeny guitar, will gladly wear bespoke purple glitter sneakers, etc. on stage. As he’s gotten a bit older, he seems to overall favour more stock finishes on his instruments than during the late 80’s to later 00’s. Straight black is out and accent colours/glitter is in, as far as Hammett is concerned, it seems.

Gibson needed to take things forward and do something special. They've absolutely nailed it, every aspect of the garage has been carefully thought of and offers something that no other guitar brand offers. This is why people play Gibson, they sincerely want every player to enjoy the guitars and be a part of the family. Connection is almost certainly Gibsons ethos and that is why the spirit of the brand lives on. Gibson guitars have a soul, an energy that once realised, is hard to go back on.

It’s like Starbucks opening one of their shitty pretentious franchises right next door to a local cafe that has been part of a neighbourhood for a hundred years. I love Gibson guitars but it really is gross, just like the one in Nashville.
