Why is that funny?? What is the logic behind that? That the generations before you suffered unnecessarily so we have to do the same to the next?! Who’s going to step in and say that 1) that’s not ok and 2) that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard and 3) please stop already because we should just know better! No one should have to suffer just because you did! It’s not an initiation to be had to pass down unnecessary suffering where and when we should know better especially in a culture that thinks they’re already oppressed and have suffered so much already! Don’t do that to yourself OR the next generation after you! Break that cycle already! And for the ones saying that it’s no big deal because you dealt with it as a child yourself and at least you’re not being treated worse as if to justify your torment, you are part of the problem and why it keeps going like that.
@ScoscobabyOGO

@@Lacroix999 I don’t think they were laughing at the child crying cause what would be cruel. But since you’ve wrote out this long paragraph do you have a solution to how black people should take care of our hair? We can’t just wear it out every day like people with straight hair cause that will damage our hair. An as much as people like to say we have tough hair it’s very fragile that’s why black people get it braided to protect it an help our hair grow. But please tell us how we should change the way we’ve been protecting out hair for years I’m dying to know your secrets 🥴

@@ScoscobabyOGO so, yanking on it, pulling it SUPER tight (causing extra and unnecessary strain on the delicate hair follicles), flat ironing it, putting unnatural chemicals in it, gluing onto your head, weaving fake hair into it, putting wigs over it, leaving it in this state for long periods of time is BETTER than just wearing it naturally or pulled back in a simple braid/bun/pony tail?? Logic tells me that all the crap you do to your hair is what, in most cases, cases your hair to be fragile, not the lack thereof it!
@ScoscobabyOGO

@@Lacroix999 you’re talking about outdated hair practices. Are you black or are you just using this as a moment to be mad at black people? This is a genuine question cause I don’t want to have this hair “argument” with someone that doesn’t really care it’s a waste of my energy and time. Trust me as a black person I have many things I want to criticize but hair is the last thing on the list. My career actively helps people within the black community.

@@ScoscobabyOGO why would I be mad at black people? That’s quite the racist comment based on some random comment from some random stranger in the world’s opinion, no matter their skin color. I think everyone flipped her video to assume that the issue that girl was facing was men not being polite in situations when she isn’t been approached but rather her desire to be courted instead of the women around her. Caring about the approval for men is weird, but I understand she wants attention because she’s human. But again I’ve watched her TikTok several times and it truly wasn’t about the character about the man not including her like one big happy family but wanting to feel chosen
