During the siege of Reach John and his whole team were in space with jetpacks and were destroying carriers and stuffs. They discovered Brutes and everyone in John's team except 2 died. And those two were taken with Halsey to Onyx where SPARTAN IIIs were being trained. Spartan IIIs that didn't exist until about 5-6 years after the events of Reach. Yet somehow Noble team is full of Spartan IIIs...

MarineS0n2 Lies, Spartan Assault was the pinnacle of the franchise! /s I think 343 has been doing an okay job. They've made a lot of cool things and have done a better job than Bungie at making the lore coherent. Halo 4, while nearly objectively inferior to previous Halo titles in terms of game design, was easily the best written Halo game to date. Halo 5 seems to have the opposite problem, with its game design taking the traditional Halo sandbox and raising the bar by adding new mechanics that don't detract from the classic Halo feel, variety of game modes, and downright insane capabilities with the new Forge mode, but it's story being the weakest in the series. Having the old Bungie and 343i work together on Halo would be a dream come true, but the sad truth is that the Bungie we once knew are no more.

343 has made a bunch of cool things, I will admit it. I loved Forward Unto Dawn and Spartan Assault and Halo 4 were both ok, but jesus the campaign for Halo 5 was three hours long and had the same boss fight three times. I tried Destiny and didn't like it. I hated the changes that were made to the enemies in Halo 4 and to the combat in Halo 5. We do not need Grunts, Jackals, and Elites being cousins, and we do not need Halo copying Call of Duty! The best written was probably Reach in my opinion, because it actually made me care a bit when the other Spartans died and was the only main game prior to 4 where you actually got to SEE other Spartans and interact with them. The story of Halo 4 was ok at best, with the admittedly cool shield world, Prometheans, and Cortana's sacrifice. The cons of Halo 4's story are such: Cortana's death is inconsequential, as she comes back immediately after. The Chief is mutated by the Librarian to survive the effects of the Didact's weapon which conveniently only kills human beings and nobody even mentions that there is any difference or inquires as to how he survived. There is no follow up on the Halsey interrogation that actually provides substance to the series (yes, Spartan Ops did chop off her arm and send her to work for the Covenant) as they mention that they created soldiers from children in the interrogation and that the Spartan 2's had displayed signs of psychopathy and a detachment from interpersonal relationships. Despite the glaring evidence that Chief should have just mourned Cortana as another casualty of war, another fallen soldier, he abandons his mission and life to go find a way to bring a computer program back from the dead. Think that's the end of the issues, but reach is still awesome.

As for your issues with Halo 4's campaign, literally none of that has to do with Halo 4. The main issue is that the lead writer got replaced with Brian Reed, and his stuff is mediocre at best.

Alexis Alexander mark 2 spartans are all people with master chiefs armor and they have all surpassed their bodys limits to become that way.half of them died in training. Mark 3 spartans was invented after combat evolved, trying to zerg rush the enemy with numbers and send them to suicide missions in hope of somehow defeating them so their training was not kidnapped children but volentering people. ironically in the end of halo 2 there was 2 to 3 mark 3 spartans left. But because they were first introduced after combat evolved *after the fall of reach* alot of people gets angry because it changes the lore of the old story and books, fun fact. After the fall of reach the last spartan 2s are in a Group called blu team

The thing is none of them had to die Jorge could have easily jumped with you while the marines could set the bomb Kat could've lived if she just checked her surroundings Emile he could've lived if he just had anyone I previously mentioned backing him up And Carter could've survived if he jumped out last minute if you and master chief could survive a fall from space he can survive that Noble team didn't really have to die if they were just better at what they did they could've all survived and if they did with the stuff I said you didn't need to die in the end either but no. Just goes to show that any characters that you connect with in most games die just to add drama or some shit.

Jorge had to set up the bomb and right as it set up it blows up. The marines couldn't have done it because bombs aren't what they were trained for. How could kat look around for a minute if they were all almost gonna blow up. Carter couldn't have jumped out because his amour was badly damaged. Emile had no one because six had to deliver cortana. And six had to stay behind to back up captain Keyes on the gun.

The only reason they didnt have Jun on there is because he didn't die, he was the last Noble Team Member, if you read Halo: New Blood, he recruited Buck and Romeo as Spartans, Mickey joined the insurrectionists and the rookie got killed by the leader of the insurrectionists, Jun was the reason Buck became a Spartan for Halo 5 Guardians
