In regards to jealousy, it's a definition or level of fear. The example of a child being ealius is seeing someone with a toy or sweet, seeing the joy they get from it and seeking it themselves by straight up robbing it of them lol. On the part of children being jealous or not, i think a great example is when a child around 6 months + sees its mom carrying another child.. They start to feel some type of way and start acting on that feeling, which society has named jealousy. So the feeling is a valid part and not taught. I think there are a lot of social experiments on this as well.

At the very basic level of human nature, men protect and provide, and women create life and nurture, so imagine in this cycle you have a man to procreate with, who will protect and provide for you and and any potential children you might have and you’re comfortable then suddenly another woman (in some instances, prettier, more fun etc) pops up out of nowhere and has his attention, then he sleeps with her which doesn’t necessarily mean he will leave you, but what if he starts liking her?
