For £30, I'm happy with mine. Just remember to hover over the selected pickup. I.e. not the bridge pickup if you've selected the neck pickup. Plus you get a free Sound Stone plugin for Kontakt 6.

most ebow/sustainer tones on their own sound pretty boring and gimmicky tbh. Where a sustainer device (or pickup) shines is when it is used in a full mix and EQ'd and effected as needed to fill out the sound and add another textural layer to a song section.
