I used to have the original egg shape speakers . They were Made out of metal And they came with a grill . They won best speakers 2 years in a row. What Hifi magazine

Nice find ..and good to put some older stuff into perspective. Old does not = bad. A few other good creators have featured and measured older speakers with some really surprising results. Nice to see some clever content. =)

Its intentional. I switched to a stereo mic. I just need a better one which is coming soon!.

@@Kpaceguy - I heard that dialogue for the sound demo.. figured you'd switch back for talking. It was much lower volume / harder to hear. .. all good =)

@psyphonyxaudio The camera actually sits far away because of the lens length. So switching back to my rode mic in between music and talking would mean I'd have to stop the clip and start a new one. The better resolution would be for me to boost audio level in editing I just forgot to lol

Subwoofer question. Have under 1300$ to spend. Better to multiples to cover med, closer to large room with 2 or even 3 bic pl300's or just one HSU VTF-TN1 Just for movies

​@@Kpaceguy Thankyou. Sorry to bump subwoofer question into this non subwoofer video. Did u actually run measurements when u had pl300. Did it easily hit like 20hz. I know it claims lower. My current 2 sealed subs only hit around 30htz. So switching out to ported..Want to finally feel the at least 22hz and hopefully lower. Was thinking multiples would allow me to keep the volume lower on each pl300 to avoid chuffing ang get best of both worlds. No chuffing but keep 20hz feels verse large HSU with possible nulls.

true story… 8 years ago…i threw one of these speakers kef egg on a intruder once… it hit him on the head… he went down but not unconscious…. to my surprise when i tried to play it the next day… it worked perfectly… ( the intruder ran out of the house… was never caught)
