@@instinctively_awesome8283 this could be easy if you are unemotional towards the market, I always wanted to be trading something at my early stages of coming into the market which made me take lots of uncalculated risks and subsequently, losing a lot of funds. However, I later had to use a coach a colleague introduced me and with her expertise, my $115k capital grew to $175K in 2 months.

Would love to see a video/case study of companies who took the right strategic decision but failed because the time/market was not ready for it. Would go a long way to show how despite all the business fundamentals you implement, there is a factor of luck involved in creating a business.

Apart from interesting advertisements, the product quality was consistent. As said brand perception led to value may be true in terms of price but cost minimization was the key. It is well known that it was a north Indian company while southerners prefer American or other brands, Crompton, Philips etc., are household names in Chennai. But Havel built distributor network in such a way that you get the entire value chain from one dealer. That's how diversification helped the brand. It is good that you move to strategic part of case studies slowly in each of your videos and I wish you take heart to plunge into the core strategic part than the tactical. That's how we as audience could transcend the value chain as well. I understand KZbin pays well but still you can think of paid courses online if not in MOOC range. Just a thought.

A lot of stocks are down as well as crypto. Buy gold, 30% in crypto. Investing is a long term game, don't worry about the short term;As long as you invest in strong blue chip companies that you have conviction in, they will recover in the long term, DCA if you can.

I’d suggest you look into passive crypto investing like liquidity farming, Staking and DEFI. Buy tokens which you know have huge potential to grow & good use cases. For me, I am under the guidance of a digital-assets/stock pundit and she provides entry and exit points on the security I focus on while I go about my other businesses. Have been a huge follower of Havells since a decade now. The details were very well crafted. Great job TS. One quick ask: Do you know why Havells sold off majority of their stake in Sylvania and maintained just over 20% or so? If you could have touch based on that aspect as well, as in from a strategic perspective, what would have been their logic to sell this company, what did they gain from the whole deal, what can we learn from that, etc. I can also imagine your interest of time here! Thank you and kudos team!

What did Haveli of the original Havells did after selling his brand to QRG? He was thinking about selling the company after which he would have got enough to live freely, but then he just got 7 lac. He lost his brand name but the manufacturing unit was still on with financial distress, what did he do after that?

Although Havells make 10,000 crores of yearly revenue out of which 4300 crores comes by selling wires yearly but many viewers don't know that polycab India is the largest player of Indian wire market. The yearly revenue of polycab India is 9000 crores out of which 7650 (85%) crores comes from wire's business. So in terms of sales polycab India is the largest player of Indian wire industry.

Yep. Also Crompton is by far the most major player in Fans, Philips in lightning and Legrand, along with Panasonic (ROMA, Anchor) in switches. Havells needs to up their QA big time to get back on top. Their fans and leds have been very poor in my recent experience.
