Apart from interesting advertisements, the product quality was consistent. As said brand perception led to value may be true in terms of price but cost minimization was the key. It is well known that it was a north Indian company while southerners prefer American or other brands, Crompton, Philips etc., are household names in Chennai. But Havel built distributor network in such a way that you get the entire value chain from one dealer. That's how diversification helped the brand. It is good that you move to strategic part of case studies slowly in each of your videos and I wish you take heart to plunge into the core strategic part than the tactical. That's how we as audience could transcend the value chain as well. I understand KZbin pays well but still you can think of paid courses online if not in MOOC range. Just a thought.

One quick ask: Do you know why Havells sold off majority of their stake in Sylvania and maintained just over 20% or so? If you could have touch based on that aspect as well, as in from a strategic perspective, what would have been their logic to sell this company, what did they gain from the whole deal, what can we learn from that, etc. I can also imagine your interest of time here! Thank you and kudos team!
