I still believe AP4 or R5 should be the what WRC 1 is. More cost effective, more manufacturers involved (which is s problem for WRC 1 atm) and would open it up for more competitors
Can AP4 cars compete in FIA events...say safari rally Kenya?

I keep thinking that aside from Hayden’s current ( and longtime) Hyundai affiliation, he’d be a perfect fit for the Puma in WRC. Very experienced and a proven winner especially for the harder WRC rally’s- Safari, Argentina, NZ, Finland etc.

Mind you most hybrid engines in motorsports produces lots and lots of torque compared to regular ICE. F1, LMP1/Hypercar, and now Rally1.
