I have been trying so hard to get sober. I'm currently staying in a hotel because my wife kicked me out of our house, and doesn't want me around our daughter. I have Christ in my heart, but my addiction is outweighing my faith and any feelings of love. If my brother in Christ, Jacoby, can get thru it, I know I can too. I grew up fatherless, poor and lost. I am now a father, supporting his family, and know I have the love of the Lord and the love of my wife and daughter, but I have to get better. Please send me your prayers. @@robbylavender1999 True- nobody is perfect, and I don't judge him whatsoever for that. I don't judge people at all for ANY reason. However, a Christian should never be intentionally using profanities- which is what it seems like Papa Roach constantly does. Having an accidental slip-up is FAR different than intentionally swearing, that's for sure!

I've been a Papa Roach fan for many many years now and this is crazy to see. Seeing this from him specifically, someone I've admired for so long, is unreal. Because I never thought I'd one day have THIS here as a reason to look up to him. I just found out about this yesterday, and I couldn't have found out about it at a better time in my life. Huge respect for Jacoby.

Kevin Florence You don’t have to get your life right. The beauty of Jesus Christ is that he will meet you right where you are, in the darkness and with all the rough edges. He is the healer, all we have to do is surrender it to Him and the rest will come. He is faithful and just to forgive us if we come to Him.

I had never really paid much attention to 'Papa Roach' in the past, but recently went to a concert to see another band they were playing with. I remember vividly the moment I saw Jacoby on stage, knew right away that there was something incredibly special about him; he had light! Anyhow, enjoyed their show so much and vowed to see Papa Roach again soon ... then out of curiosity I googled 'Jacoby Shaddix Christian' and sure enough .. sure enough .. I think that a lot of people want Christians to be perfect but the truth is that we are all works in progress. I'm sure he will get there some day. Christians don't sin any less than others, they have just admitted they are leading sinful lives and have sought the redemption of Jesus. as you grow in Christ you will hopefully become more like him and a better example but we should cut people slack every once in a while.

+Vitaliy Vik He's beem swearing pretty much his whole life. It's fairly unlikely, he's going to cut it out completlty the second he becomes a Christian. If it doesn't reduce after a while, there may be cause for cocern however.

The Bible tells us let nothing "unwholesome" come from mouth, I mean a Believer can constantly lie, cheat as well but the Word warns us, actually NT tells us to watch out for one another and yes even question actions, words that don't hold true to His Word
