Immediately following the presidential inauguration, President Biden directed FEMA to increase support to state, local, tribal, and territorial partners through additional federal funding. The directive increased the federal cost share that FEMA reimburses from 75 percent to 100 percent of the cost of activities that have previously been determined eligible, from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to September 30, 2021.
Join Baker Donelson for an engaging panel discussion that analyzes the cost share and what it means for health care organizations. We will cover claims coordination strategy, what FEMA will and will not cover, coordination with other federal relief programs such as the CARES Act and the Provider Relief Fund, and how all of this fits into President Biden’s overall health plan.
