A healthy man loves a woman before she's perfected. He sacrifices for her. He has a vision of his woman's potential. He works to help her become the best version of herself as God designed her to be. 1) A healthy man teaches his woman submission by example (through submission to God), not by demand. Eph 5:21 2) A healthy man learns his woman's emotional range, and he adjusts his leadership to her emotional capacity. He disengages her triggers. 3) A healthy man promotes healing in his woman. He sees deeper than her complaints. He makes her feel safe, emotionally, and physically. He makes her feel that she's a priority. 4) A healthy man is rarely triggered by his woman because of his emotional intelligence. He disengages his triggers. He focuses on constructive dialog, resolution, and understanding. He validates her feelings with respect. 5) A healthy man never strives to win an argument. He works for understanding. He listens actively. He concedes points. He apologizes and takes responsibility for his mistakes. He feels her heart. He works to reconcile.

I'm not even Christian, religious, or anything else, but I would definitely attend yr church, Sir. Our community is in such disrepair, we definitely need these messages. We have to learn our roles as men and women, then begin to build/repair our relationships with each other and then build/repair our families. Then, we will be able to tap into our power. Thank u for this word. Watching from Dallas, TX.

Uncle Blake is spitting fire out here!!🔥 "He demonstrates submission by example not demand," "He submits his life to the word so any area of his character that is not in alignment with the word- she sees him bring adjustments to that area. His submission to God is to the word," 🗣️🗣️ "It's dangerous to submit to a man that is not submitted... When he isn't submitted to anyone that's dangerous" 🗣️🗣️ Thank you Uncle Blakes!

@michellegordon948 I, too, wish this lovely couple all the blessings that the creator can give subhanallah. I had a father who I loved dearly. He died as I became an adult. So, I never got a chance to have conversations with him as an adult at 28 at the time. However, all our stories are different. My biggest cry coming up was support and still is to some degree at 61 now. I guess I would wish to know Bishop and his wife during my twenties and thirties they could have been that whisper in my ear I desperately needed to hear from. I was always looking for support but did not have it, but you know what they say. God watches over all souls. I believe this to be true for me because I am still here. Ameen.☮️ much love and respect to Mr., Mrs. Blake.

I’m grateful to God for my dear parents but Bishop RC and Ms. Lisa Blakes are the kinds that I truly missed and never had in my life! Our lives could have been a lot better with great people like them who are good communicators that can speak godly wisdom into us; they bring clear views to our minds, hearts, and spirits -“the heavenly intelligence” because of their good hearts and souls from God. I believe that certain people enter our lives to enlighten us and pave our way to salvation. Who are your "enlighteners" ( if that's the word for it lol)???!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Have you thought of how blessed we are to have access to them in this way and not have been out “actual” parents. It’s having to compare what he gives in comparison to what our parents did not that actually makes us able to sit and listen…we’ve all been hard headed it’s a blessing that we are our age when we get this and not our younger selves … and unable to have a two way “talk” you have youth will have you interrupt so many blessings with a petulant mouth…

Thank you, RC Blakes, for the insightful message. It’s always a pleasure to listen to you, and you’ve done an excellent job of highlighting the key characteristics of what it means for a healthy man to show up in the lives of women. I now have a deeper understanding of how these principles play out, and I hope that we all take what you’re sharing and apply it in our relationships and interactions. It’s so important to reflect on the qualities of a godly man, understand how men think, and truly show up in our relationships. Thank you for shedding light on these valuable insights!

I would view this text from multiple perspectives, especially regarding how the expectations and demands placed on a "healthy man" might impact individuals with traumatic experiences. Here are some key points: 1. Idealization and Projection: The text portrays a highly idealized image of a man who is self-sacrificing, prioritizes his partner's needs above his own, and takes on the responsibility for her healing. For people with a history of traumatic relationships, this idealization can be problematic. It may lead them to seek such self-sacrificing partners or try to live up to such ideals themselves, creating unhealthy dynamics of self-abandonment. 2. Submission and Power Balance: The notion that the man "leads" and the woman "submits" - even framed positively - can be particularly triggering for individuals with a history of abuse or dominance in relationships. In truly equitable relationships, healing often involves finding a balance where both partners learn to maintain their boundaries and communicate in healthy ways. 3. Responsibility for the Partner’s Healing: The text suggests that the man is responsible for the woman’s healing. From a therapeutic standpoint, healing is fundamentally a personal, inner journey and cannot be fully "done" by another person. People with trauma histories might risk setting overly high expectations for their partners or themselves, leading to unhealthy dependency. 4. Trigger Management: The idea that a healthy man "resolves his own triggers" and is rarely triggered by his partner sounds positive on the surface. However, in reality, triggers-especially for those with trauma-are a natural part of human interactions and not a sign of weakness. Healthy dynamics are less about eliminating triggers altogether and more about recognizing them together and developing respectful, supportive ways to handle them. 5. Active Listening and Respect: Positive aspects of the text, such as the emphasis on active listening, respectful communication, and empathy, are indeed crucial for a healthy, supportive relationship. However, it's essential that these qualities are mutual, rather than one-sided expectations. While the text outlines valuable principles for a relationship, it may present an overly idealized, almost "perfect" image of a partner. For individuals with trauma histories, this could create pressure to feel overly responsible for their partner’s well-being or vice versa. A healthy relationship thrives on mutuality, realistic expectations, and the ability of both partners to balance their needs and grow together.
