I had SUCH a fun time chatting with good friend and amazing artist Makoccino! Let me know in the comments below your favorite or most inspirational part of this video! And don't forget to head over to her channel, subscribe if you aren't already following because she has awesome tutorials, and watch the video she posted where she interviewed me ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6iwlX6wrs6XaKs ).

Just watching this video now and my heart is full. I started painting in 2017 and never took the plunge on making videos as I didn’t want to show my face yet on video (awkward camera vibes here 😅) but after hearing how mako got started I did finally create my own channel (and actually did an art and a gaming channel separately) and did already 2 video recording trials to see what else I need to learn. Love this! You too are wholesome

Wow! I'm listening to this after watching your interview on mako's channel. That video is actually the way that I came across you, Jenna! I loved every minute of the interviews! Mako was so right when she said that you can fix a picture after 15 attempts and it will look AMAZING! It just happened to me yesterday actually. I really didn't like the way my picture came out, so I thought about what else I can do to add to it. Thank God it came out better than I thought it ever could! I now get your emails Jenna and am so thankful to God for Him leading me to you! Art Licensing sounds like it is right up my alley! Such an awesome way to make a living and do what you love! Thank you!!!!!💕💕💕

@@JennaRaineyChannel I can't believe you answered! I mean... this video is a year old! And you are such a busy person! Wow! Thank you! Thanks so much for the encouragement and motivation❤❤❤ You mentioned how it is easier to make a negative comment on social media than a positive one. I want to change that! And how can anyone make a negative comment on a watercolor tutorial?!?!?! I mean what's not to love, right? Now that I know you read the comments (thank you!!!), I want to mention how I am really excited about art licensing, but I don't know where to begin! I am working on my watercolors, but I love trying all different mediums and found micron pen drawing and calligraphy tutorials on your channel, which I can't wait to try. I feel like maybe I should concentrate on one medium... I also work digitally. And I want to reach out to companies (which I did a bit). Who should I reach out to? And how? What did you do when you first started? HELP!!!🤣😂🙃 - AN ARTIST WHO IS ALL OVER THE PLACE lol

Jenna , thanks so much for this video. I know I’m a little late to the game watching it. I recently found your channel and Mako’s channel and have been learning so much from you both. You guys are so encouraging and helpful. It was really interesting to me that you, Jenna, struggled in school. I did too but like you I really grew a lot in college. I started as a psychology major too but did change to art eventually. I have been teaching art in middle and high school for 12 years but am finally looking to start creating and selling my own work so it was really helpful and encouraging to hear both of you guy’s journeys and experience.💜

@libbyandrewstudio Thank you so much for this discussion! You are so generously sharing with the world. I really believe the scheduling is the most important part. The consistency of doing it every day is everything. I have four kids and starting the day at 5am is imperative if I'm going to paint every day.
