It's been hard to describe what's a great actor. M. Ford is very good. He oftenly shows the same face tactics of been serious and nervous, staying concentrates. I believe having a great face for acting makes the whole difference.

The rogue agent was played by Xander Berkeley who played Captain Gilad Pellaeon in the Mandalorian. So you got him and Han Solo on board.

Xander Berkeley was also in The Rookie in 1990 as one of the bad guys with Clint Eastwood as one of Raul Julia’s henchmen and was in Terminator 2 as John Conners foster dad Todd killed off by T-1000. He was one of main villains in Shanghai Noon and Heat in 1995.

Well, the pilots could have easily activated the fire extinguishers on the engines then bash the throttle leaver and brakes (after activation) as hard as they can plus wrecking as many screens or buttons as they could. It would almost guarantee a total loss but it would force the plane down as the engines are supposed to die if the extinguishers are activated and I doubt there is time to restart them especially if it’s in the landing phase.

Once the the squibs are fired, there`s zero chance of re-engaging the engines again without maintenance crews working them over. The fuel valves shut off and can only be re-opened on the ground.

@@Alan_Wigz Apollo 13 was accurate and was a good movie; you don’t have to be ridiculous to make a good movie. It was fine until the plane actually touched down. At that point everything that happened is unbelievable and it took me out of the movie. I’m yelling at my phone “but you’re on the ground! YOU’RE ON THE GROUND!!!”

"No matter what happens, we land this aircraft, understood?" The pilots who make it to Air Force One are the best the country offers. I have no doubt they would do that in real life. That first officer knew he would die if he stopped, and what did he do? Pull the speed brake handle anyway.

Movie logic. There's so much crap on the taxiway and apron, the engines will suck in everything and get wrecked. The plane has so much fuel to fly to Kazakhstan (remember it was supposed to fly from Moscow to Washington DC, now stopping at Germany). The plane would be so heavy that it would not pull up in such a short takeoff roll, and ram the C5 Galaxy Tenerife style.

Aircraft skin is like 4mm thick aluminium. If bullets hit the fuselage it'll go right through. But a few holes won't cause explosive depressurizarion or cause the airframe to break apart. The air conditioning system is more than enough to handle it. Losing a door is a much bigger hole though.

In reality there is no escape pod on Air Force One. And when the plane lands, it would not have been able to go back up in the air like it did in the movie. Therefore, the movie should’ve already been finished.

Lots and lots of planning and having a mole on the inside helps. It's definitely possible especially in the world we live in now. Scary scenario yet not entirely impossible as well. Hence why in reality the Secret Service do lots and lots of background checks on their own agents. It just takes one corrupt agent.

Better non-fiction, w/Capt Harry - Jetliner Pilot, saving 155/155, where NTSB said, couldn't save anyone! I'm not Schmidt'n ya, real tale avail 1-20, w/real DOT Secr!! Poor bass turd Capt punished 2.5 yrs before could find "Billy from Mich" that had original warnings for him, that fateful day, but had finally found him at TPA's Pilot's Lounge! Yep Harry, I'm same Dude that in '72, took your Acting Portfolio Photos, & Carpentry Shots to boot!! But in this, @TPA, you'd be Instructing Airliner Pilots of dangers w/Microbursts & Downdrafts! Don't you get squeamish on me Harry, sure there'd be scene where you'd be on ILS Approach at Altitude, notice you're Stationary, Turbines at Flt Idle for slowing, but Capt you could beat that, as in your spare time, you're the Famous Harrison Ford!! So WTF, you've got 10 seconds for action, before entering 150knt Downdraft Plummet, but that's No Problem, as you also know, "Billy from Mich", you're in Mich, so he'll save ya!! Now don't be cautious here, I've got both passwords to free Investigations, + am a Principle in it, so should be able to get copies of Investigations for our perusal! There's buncha to-do w/FAA, MDOT, NWS, Hostel Airport Employees, local PD cuffin' ya while pulling Oak limbs from Belly (Think back to your Trainer), disrespect taking courses you were used to be teaching, & unemployed for the past 2 1/2 yrs, etc! You could Play-Act, w/plane decimated, 5-broke main wing spars, wingtips draggin' on runway, no radios, no COM w/Cabin, Fuselage battered flyin' thru woods & Interior torn up from G-Forces, etc, plus worst thing of all, 1st Ofcr screamin' at top of his lungs, from 1st jerk down, until Harrison Ford Type, Beautiful 5-Point landing, at Airport..AT LAST. Most degrading thing I suppose, would be, having to endure, Tower ignoring you, could'nt get Permissions, so OK'ed himself for Approach, Land, Taxi, Cross Runway, Approach Concourse, Park in his Spot, & you'd have to shut down Aircraft yourself, as none of the Airline's Employees would help! Highlight would of been, when 1st Ofcr had toned his scream, down to whimper, upon landing! Best way to contact your Old Buddy here Harry, is to Google for it!
