Thank you for tipping him, seems he works relentlessly on these videos and we viewers gain valuable insight in return. No matter how small the tip, he gets it without asking for it, he gets it simply out of genuine appreciation from us and that makes it hell of a lot more meaningful. Hopefully it'll feed his motivation/passion to continue making these great videos for us. So again, thanks for tipping him because it helps both him AND us :)

My partner has a saying he picked up in the military, “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.” It’s based on how moving too quickly can lead to mistakes which leads to time lost fixing the mistake, but I find it also applies to things like learning a new skill or even just keeping house. I get so caught up in where I want to be that I rush toward the end goal and end up finding myself out of fuel before I get to the finish line. I’m learning to take it slow - I have my whole life to learn these skills, and the housework will always be there 😅

Hinata’s arc literally changed my life. I felt so behind because as an illustrator it took me forever to get good enough to be hired on projects, so whenever I got one my health - and especially sleep - were my last priority. I eventually messed up my arm rushing a big project and had to take two years off, which drove me into a very dark place. And then I read Haikyuu. It was miraculous. It made me feel hopeful, pushed me to get help and inspired me when I felt lost. I’m still going to physio but I can take projects again and have finally gotten my sleep in order and am regaining my stamina. Now my health is my first priority on projects. Your video really hit me and seeing those clips again is a great motivation. Thanks and continue to take care of yourself!

Thank you for this video! This is so beautifully made. Haikyuu to me is not just a fun show. When I was a kid, I hated physical activities and sports. I had been an unhealthy, overweight child. I felt like my life had no purpose. I sacrificed my health, my sleep, everything just to spend endless days on things that don't actually matter to me. But... there came Haikyuu. Haikyuu encouraged me to embrace and love sports. The story encouraged me to care more for myself and my friends and make the most of everyday. Haikyuu taught me to slow down, take a deep breath. I decided to sleep better, exercise, eat well, and invest the rest of my time into skills and passions I love. Thank you man. Such a timely video.

When I schedule things I think it will take me a lot less time than I actually need and I put in so much for myself setting myself up to fail, then beating myself up for not performing. One of the best channels to exist on this platform. I mean, anime is celebrated by a lot, I would even tend to say that it‘s one of the largest communities on social media and it‘s a medium which is so special because of it‘s unique way of delivering an interestingly written plot with a central message integrated into it. Still, the message oftenly doesn‘t reach the audience as probably wished by the mangaka, despite the message being realistic, human and surely supportive for our life. We face a diversity of problems as we scroll through youtube and search for more anime content to consume, also for the use of distracting ourselves from our „misery“ and suddenly, we find this channel. A youtiber that analyses the matter of the plot very well and presents it to us then tells us how we can find hope and inspiration in the stories and characters that we have a place in our heart for. This channel is the best proof for anime and social media not just being pure time wasters and not benefiting at all. You are producing a change in the lives of thousands all around the globe in like the most logical, calming and human way for all of us. Dunno if it‘s just me, but always when I watch your videos, I experience a kinda calming feeling understanding that most of my problems were caused by my very own mentality and so far, always when I was getting negative thoughts in for me tough situations, which I would have never been able to handle before I had found your channel, I have instinctively remembered the lessons from the mob psycho, blue lock, vinland saga, etc. videos and I immediately assimiliated my behaviour resulting in me not feeling down any more. I just wanted to say thank you, you have positively influenced my whole mentality and life in general by putting this much hard work and love into your content that primarily is meant to help others, unlike most of youtube. I really wish you the best and I know that you can achieve the goals you‘ve mentioned and create more of these great videos that will definitely bring more positive changes to everyone watching. Thank you 🔥🔥🔥

This moment made me a volleyball champion! Started setting beginning off the 2022 season and at the end off 2023 season, to complete amazement from everyone at my club, i was setting good enough for my beer team to become champions! I am now stepping outside the volleyball world because in Netherlands there are no Hinata's. And as a new setter they expect you to only play 2nd tempo. And preferable extremely save options. I really was hoping for my personal army off Hinata's but that never happened. If this army exists anywhere, OikawAtsumu (thats my setting style, but on budget! XD) is calling! Am 33 and learned myself to play volleyball. Next year/season ill be scoring atleast 50 goals as striker. Mark my words, the world has an ace and he has a name.

This is a dope channel man. The algorithm just showed a haikyuu video so I clicked but I love this message. I'm a massage therapist and speaking for myself, breath work and yoga has been a game changer. Just remembering that something as simple as your breath is something to be incredibly grateful for. It makes it easier to slow down and not compare your life to others who started off much better off than you.

The first video I've seen from this channel, and I'm instantly hooked. Haikyuu!! is one of my favourite anime/manga and its ending absolutely ties in with the notion of taking care of yourself first, and learning from where you're at not where you feel you need to be. (spoilers for Haikyuu's ending from here) The message is learned again when Hinata gets the flu in their last game in Karasuno and cannot play anymore despite him wanting to sacrifice it all, but isn't allowed to. It is taught again when Hinata moved to Brazil, started taking stretching and yoga super seriously and worked as a delivery driver while watching Kageyama play in the Olympics. He's back to being a ball boy, but its what allows him to stand and play at the next Olympics. He got there, it took longer than others but it didn't matter because he got there to stand on his own two feet while taking care of himself.

This is so beautifully put. This cycle of grinding out, really costs one. It did for me too, and I was close to adrenal burnout. The slowing down process with patience was the most challenging part: sleeping, movement, nutrition support to completely heal and rewire exhausted system for years take's it's time. Looking back it felt frustrating, falling behind, but the harmony that whole experience taught me was to understand my own pace, be more present and how good health actually energizes you to do even MORE than before when one is rushing, being anxious.

I haven't even watched a single video yet and I'm saying this, it's because FINALLY SOMEONE VIEWS ANIME AS I DO!!! people be watching anime for the plot, characters, etc 😭😭😭 but no one for the lessons!!! and they be like "don't take anime too seriously" or "life isn't an anime" when I show them the tiniest bit that I'm inspired by anime 😭😭😭 BRO! how come you're here for the OSTs and didn't even notice or get affected by the lessons?! bro so many stuff out there be offering amazing stories and productions but NONE offers those lessons such as anime!!! even regular scenes in anime even when it's not intended can offer such inspiring lessons, like how respecful they are, like how productive they are, like just how their life goes through normally I find that very inspiring to get on and live my own life! it's just not some sort of cartoon, and just because it's animated doesn't make the message any less valid! like in the end there is a story behind it and a person who wrote the story, and the point of writing is to INSPIRE 😭 so anime lessons aren't any different from any other lessons, they are just coming from some really dedicated and organized people, japan. and I'm saying this as a writer myself, and as someone who knows a lot, yet watched but few, I WATCH ANIME FOR THE LESSONS, TO GET INSPIRED.

I feel this on a deep level, both with my writing and my training routine. I often get anxious and depressed if I go a day without getting any writing done, so I'll often go in and do something even if it's just a bit of planning for future story beats. When I was regularly uploading chapters to the internet, I would feel the pressure of the numbers and the algorithm and feel like I had to do more, only to work until I burned myself out and go months and months not wanting to even look at a page. As I've gotten older, I've sort of stepped away from that. I'll put in an hour or two a day, and it'll eventually get me where I'm going because I get into a flow state where I write stupidly high word counts in a short amount of time, then I'll let myself rest and play a game or go for a walk or something. With my gym regimen, I reached a point where I felt I wasn't making any progress and I wasn't really looking that different from before I started. I felt like I needed to push harder and rest less, even though I knew it was unhealthy to do that. I only realized how mistaken I was to think I hadn't progressed because of two things. One was the realization that my old clothes had gotten way too big for me and that I desperately needed to downsize. Two was when I was talking about the gym with a friend and he commented how huge my arms were. I'm a sleeper build, so it's not normally obvious, but his words were a reality check I needed. Maybe I could push harder and make gains more quickly, but it's good to stop and look at the progress you've already made.

This made me bawl. I'm a currently a first year college student and only 2 weeks has passed but I feel like I've been studying for a year already. I've put this new world of mine in a pedestal, an unreachable realm. I feel like everyone is doing well without having to put too much effort while I'm barely sleeping properly. I've been down in the dumps for a few days now. My family keeps on telling me to prioritize health but I'm only taking it in a shallow manner. Not until I saw this video. Maybe, it's not bad to take a step back and tell myself to take it easy. To not chase the remnants of success but rather build my own version of it. That I should stop comparing myself to other people because they too have their own struggles. Instead, I should focus on ways to make myself happy in doing what I'm doing. And for that, I want to thank you.

Ive been trying to make comics for a while, and this video describes my situation pretty well. Im feeling good about my quality, but the scope of my project hasnt really hit me till recently, so i had been really frustrated by my lack of "speed". Staying up till 5/6am, after i get back home from work, sleep for 12 hours. Too much caffeine, burnout. Its not sustainable. I think i really needed to hear this, thank you.

Something I try to keep in my mind when learning something new or repeating something I've done a thousand times before; Rushing is not speed. Efficiency is speed. What i mean by this is that there is an optimal speed you can operate at where you will make fewer mistakes and be at the fastest you can to do that thing. As you improve you'll naturally get faster. Honing that efficiency of movements and cutting out the excess allows you to do more, in shorter times with ease. You're not rushing, which leads to mistakes. You're taking your time to do it well the first time, at the fastest reasonable pace to perform that task to it's best degree. How many things could you be infinitely better at if you'd taken the time to slow down and do them right the first time, speeding up over time once you get more familiar and it becomes second nature? Would you have to go back and correct still? Would you fumble still? I doubt you would, you'd crush it first try, a little slower than others who are rushing, but with fewer errors. People dont account for the time that making mistakes detracts from your overall time; Time spent relearning and recorrecting those bad habits down the road. If you curl a weight and can only count a rep if it's in form, how many reps are you really doing in your daily workout? If you rush to lift the weight youd be able to do 20 reps in 40s. But not all 20 would be in form, let's say only 12 of them are. You only have 12 reps in very short time under load. Your arm is then only going to adjust with all the muscle groups to the 12 you did right for the duration you did it right. In total, assuming a rep every 2 seconds, you'd have a total time under load of 24s and momentum would be cheating you out of some load. Now if you'd not rushed and made sure each were in form, and just done 12 reps regardless of the time per rep - let's say 4 seconds per rep. In total you'd have 48s under load, with no momentum cheating you, and you'd have achieved your goal of 12 full reps and remember the correct form for later. This is an obvious win for you. You're getting double the gains by just taking a bit more time, moving a bit slower and getting it right.

Sick video bro! I’ve been getting caught up in the “work mode” and not getting satisfied doing anything else. I should learn how to enjoy the process more..

When I first realized what was happening when the team was spreading up it took me to how the actual game goes. The creators are so smart with this move. In volleyball the faster you take things the more “scrappy” you become, which can be a great thing in the heat of a match point, but, this also throws your control out the window, and your just focusing on winning the point. Not the dynamics. Therefore this is the cause to many teams downfalls when they don’t hone into what they are doing in the moment. Hinata does this, he makes his team asses the situation and help them take a deep breath and focus on the task at hand. Makes me cry every time, this is why I love Haikyuu.
