Why it's taken us so long to even be discussing this is symptomatic of our state. Man...

I'm not sure of the ages of these women on this panel. But it is obvious they have no clue as to what hip hop is in regards to Black America and our experience. Hip Hop is the Black American genre of rebellion against a system that has been used to hammer us constantly. The best example of being during the 80s coming out of both Los Angeles and New York. It is a galvanizing force that the ruling society feared. However when that force could be suppressed, it was co-opted and turned against us. Although not as successfully as was hoped. Now rather than going into a whole in-depth discussion about this, I have a more important question to ask these ladies and anyone else who happens to come across these words. If Hip Hop is so evil then why are so many other cultures attempting to claim its creation and effect on the world from Black America so much that we now have to actually fight to keep ourselves in history for its creation? Shout out to Tariq Nasheed's documentary "Microphone Check" and all the efforts going to keep what we have created under our control.

Hip Hop music is the only genre of music that refers to women as b----. It is demeaning and insulting, let alone embarrassing.

On that you are completely mistaken. Hip hop is very much alive and well. The trap crap cannot suppress nor replace it.
