God Bless you both - The Mike Willesee documentary on Katya Rivas had a huge impact on me back in August 1999. Its still out there on YT. It turned me back to Christ but it has taken another two decades to come home. I'm being received this Easter 2024

@@kathywiens9852 I fell away from the Church around age 16. And 16 years later I returned through literal divine intervention. My mum and dad never stopped praying for me. Breaks my heart to reflect on the pain I put them through. But never lose hope, Jesus and the Holy Spirit always come through. If your kid has fallen away to Atheism I suggest they watch Jay Dyer. If they've fallen away to another religion, I suggest they watch Sam Shamoun.

Many will turn away because of itchy ears. I’m cradle a Catholic and didn’t have my Metanoia experience till 2009 in my work van listening to a Protestant preacher asking those who would like to repent to come up and say the sinners prayer. So as I’m driving I said,I’m done with the world,I want to change and began to say their sinners prayers and I felt this rush of warmth cover me from hear]d to toe but mainly my brain. It felt like my brain was being massaged and I began to sob big old crocodile tears begging God to forgive me. Immediately after that I began to apologize to everyone I hurt and people were in awe how I was one way and all of a sudden a changed young man of 27. I didn’t leave the Catholic Church for the Protestant church but I was thirsting for Jesus Christ and hungry for truth. So I became very serious about my Catholic faith whereas, before I would go to Mass and in one ear and out the other and just couldn’t wait for it to be over to then link up with my “friends” to make plans about Sunday evening which we would head out to the night club and get drunk and dance in the most perverted ways with any girl. I was worst then those who didn’t go to church. It was like I was looking to top them off at being wicked. Then after I had my Metanoia, I would listen to EWTN radio and hear the talks shows and say the Rosary while I made my deliveries. But..I had a 2 yr old living in California and I was desperate to be with her so I requested a transfer to California. My transfer came thru and I began to live together at my daughters moms house but I had told her that we needed to sleep in separate rooms since we were not married. Well..that didn’t last long since she began to get needed and began asking me for cuddles. Cuddles turned into kissing and then I was fornicating and soon after that I felt the Holy Spirit rush out from me and the demons rush in. And boy did they make a mess out of me. I began to now drink and my zeal had died down but I was still trying to make it to Mass. And the worst thing one can be is lukewarm. It is a nightmare and a headache. 2 years later me and my ex split and I ended up moving out but for the next 7 years my life had been turned upside down. I wasn’t even going to Mass, didn’t care about Jesus Christ and only cared of myself. I ended up homeless in the streets, abusing drugs and really wanted my life to end. And in 2019, I began to scroll around KZbin and clicked on a very anti Catholic street preached by the name of Gabe the street preacher but I began to listen to him and saw how mean those listening were to him. So in that moment of compassion I asked God to help me and for 3 days I kneeled begging him to forgive me On the 3rd day after I asked for his forgiveness I began to convulse but felt things as if they were leaving out of my chest. Immediately after that convulsion I felt a push on my back but mind you I was sitting on my bed against the wall. I looked around the room and didn’t even recognize where I was or what had happened. I then began to seek a Protestant church because I told myself that I had never experienced an encounter with God as a Catholic and so I owed it to the Protestant church for helping me come back to God. That lasted for about 2 yrs and then I hear a voice right next to me say,”read me,read me’’. I look to the Bible next to me and I began to see images of all the disobedient people throughout salvation history, from Adam and Eve,to the Jews and then Martin Luther. My epiphany moment where I realized that God does not like disobedient people and that I was in disobedience by being a Protestant. Soon after that I came right back to the Catholic Church and I’ve never been so into my Catholic faith that never would I consider myself or call myself a staunch Catholic but with the true love of Christ within me. It is true that Protestants do have it locked down when it comes to bible studies and fellowship and all things Jesus Christ. I give them that! And I met wonderful people who even invited me into their homes but the hate that they had towards Catholicism grew on me that I too became very anti Catholic. I think it had to do with that Catholic call the, selves Christians yet are out in the world, not interested in scripture and are not on fire for Jesus Christ as they are, that it bothered me and them that Catholics had the audacity to call themselves Christians. It was like,NOOO, we are the real Christians,we know scripture,we love Jesus more than you all. It was a comparison thing and very judgmental way of being.

@@Kitiwake Chapter and verse. Catholics will argue from any source EXCEPT scripture. 2 PETER 1:19-21 We have also a more sure *word of prophecy;* whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: *20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.* 21For the *prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.* "Private interpretation" is the idea that the writers of scripture wrote holy writ from memory, or wrote of their own opinions, philosophies or opinions. Holy men wrote scripture after they SPOKE by the Spirit. NO writer after the Apostles have done that since INCLUDING any Pope, or "chuch father." It does NOT mean that we need a magisterium or a cult to "interpret" scripture for us. The Church Fathers were Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, and Jude the WRITERS of the New Testament scripture. Catholics hold to worldly traditions of MEN, to heretical "church fathers" who did not author ONE book of the Bible but brought in their own philosophies into the faith corrupting it. Paul warned his fellow Christians of his day repeatedly: ACTS 20:28-31 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. *29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.* 30Also of your *own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.* 31Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of *three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.* The apostasy started in PAUL'S DAY! 2 TIMOTHY 1:15 This thou knowest, that *all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.* All those in Asia minor rejected Paul. 2 THESSALONIANS 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by *letter as from us,* as that the day of Christ is at hand. There were corrupt men writing fake letters in Paul's day AND afterward. 2 TIMOTHY 2:15-18 *Study* to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But *shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.* 17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; *18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.* Here are two men who were teaching heresy BEFORE there was any "Clement of Rome" or "Ignatius of Antioch" or "Polycarp of Smyrna." REVELATION 2:1-2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: *and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:* Who might the Lord be speaking of here?

@@johnyang1420 The Judaizing heretics of the first century that rejected the Doctrines of Paul the Apostle started the "catholic church". Hence, the elevation of Peter as the first Pope, or the "rock" of that church. The Rock on which Jesus Christ built His Church was Himself NOT a man. The rejecters of the "catholic church" were persecuted and killed by the New Pharisees. To counter the true church that realized that Paul is our apostle (Rom 11:13, 1 Cor. 11:1, 1 Cor. 4:15:16) they came up with their own, and made his "successors" infallible. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

Beautiful testimony of the Holy Spirit leading us back home to the Catholic Church. I had a similar experience coming from a party lifestyle and finding positive social connection in the Evangelical Church. I spent 10 years in the Evangelical Church. This year at Pentecost my husband and myself will be confirmed and receive communion in the Catholic Church - we are currently in RCIA all glory to God. We will have our marriage convalidated before this. Very thankful for all of these stories. God bless you!

This was an amazing interview! I can concur with the guest. Electronics is the downfall for many. I was hooked on porn/masturbation. It’s great in the beginning but then I felt like crap afterwards, disgusted, low and weird unable to talk to a girl normally. Just a complete weirdo pervert. I can concur with the guest that by going to confession regularly and I’m talking about every week no more than 2 weeks that Gods protection over you will remain and you will know that you are in a state of grace. You will also begin to see very clearly the traps of the enemy. That you just laugh at how the enemy is desperately trying to get you to fall back. The devils can only go by your memory or record history of your sins. So they will try to tempt you with previous experiences or sins. They will set up situations and I always say that the situation is the cake but the cherry on top is how they want trap you. But your guardian angel is always by you letting you know what’s up. Everything your guest said in regards to remaining under Gods protection is 💯 true and this is coming from a chronic porn watcher, drug alcohol addict.

Yes! Zachary King. Amazing conversion!! Heard him at a few talks about 9-10 yrs ago at our parish, and another to take friends and one of my sons to. Able to ask him about video games for kids as that was starting to be a big thing, back then. He says a gateway to the dislabolic depending on the content, but also its addictiveness that takes you away from God and satan is happy about that. Yes, Exorcist Files with Fr. Carlos Martins. I listened to one and it was good, but I prefer people’s testimonies, but the show is like watching a movie l, but you’re just listening. Yes, saw Katya on a news program (I think it was) many years ago.

no, confession is a sacrament for the forgiveness of sins. Exorcisms are prayers to cast out evil spirits and often you have children, sometimes even under the age of reason, who have never committed mortal sins requiring them.

@@alisterrebelo9013 all of them. You don't have scriptures. Even your apologists say they're not. These apply types, or use "pictures of doctrines/dogmas that aren't even in the NT and think they have a picture in the OT. In other words your church and it's apologists have become masters at making something appear to be biblical when it's not. That is what you will do. In fact, you probably heard it from one of them. I don't want to hear something that is "kinda" in the bible. Let's get explicit since you say it's IN the bible. And if you use ONLY the bible to prove your doctrines, it won't be accepted as an answer because you guys don't believe in scripture alone. You are allowed to use the book of Mormon or the Koran or anything else. The bible can't be your sanctuary. Go for it.
