One thing Crucially I need to understand, Who drives the gear pump? engine or torque converter? If engine drives the torque converter shaft, then pump also be driven bcs both are same shaft. If pump is driven then torque converter also be driven. HOW the converter's power is propelled to hydraulic clutches and forward or reverse gears?

very good. Please your opinion: How efficiently would this device work as a hydraulic motor when the flow of fluid is reversed? Explanation: I am searching for a (cheap!) powerful hydraulic motor that could be mounted to each drive wheel on an articulated vehicle.
