I love that, it’s so true meditation with a goal. I’ve always meditated but never really used that state to suggest positive things to myself. Hypnosis is amazing been doing it only for a few days on myself and I feel how different I feel almost like certain ways I used to feel about things are no longer there, my self concept has improved also

I’m trading house cleaning for hypnosis. I really didn’t think it’d work on me bc of my hyper vigilance. First two sessions didn’t do much. The 3rd session really did make a difference. I had a lot less anxiety afterwards.

That’s great to know! I just had one session and my anxiety skyrocketed because I just keep thinking it won’t work for me. I’m going to stick with it and see what happens.

Thank you for this Callie and Kyle ~ Grace has inspired me to look more into hypnotherapy. I would love to see an (animal) energy healer worker as your next guest! Would be such a good intersection of wellness. 💗

@RB-tq4uu5 ай бұрын
I know I'm late but as far as I know the only way it can go wrong is if it doesn't do anything. So you don't really have anything to lose.

I hate to ruin the great sentiment in which this video has been filmed and certainly both of them are very nice people, but...I just don't see how this can do ANYTHING for someone who truly suffers from anxiety. I went from 7 to 7 :) And the data they were mentioning in the beginning of the video are probably from the studies that were not even strictly controlled. The strictly controlled, randomized clinical studies from 2010 have shown no benefits of hypnosis for smoking cessation. I believe that, nowadays, people need to have strong critical thinking and a healthy dose of skepticism.
@CandyQuackenbush9112 жыл бұрын
The first two sessions didn’t help me but the ones after did help immensely. One session isn’t going to cure you. I’m a huge skeptic but I’ve tried EVERYTHING else.
@SuraDoes Жыл бұрын
It might help if you hired someone to do sessions in person. There are studies proving hypnosis works to manage stress, reduce anxiety symptoms (both physical and emotional), for weight loss, trauma relief. If you have severe anxiety, it would take a few sessions but once the hypnotist finds out the root cause for your issue, they should be able to give you some relief.
@VEGETADTX Жыл бұрын
@@SuraDoes I appreciate the advice but to this day I remain extremely skeptical of hypnosis. I believe that, at best, it's just a rebranded version of talk therapy with a lot of good marketing and bunch of wishful thinking. And if that for some reason helps someone gain some additional psychological benefits - great, I am trully happy for them, but I personally don't think that hypnosis is really anything more than what I say. In the meantime my anxiety dramadically decreased (to the point where I can say that it's mostly gone). But anyway I wish everyone the best regardless of what helps them.
@Rosina27277 ай бұрын
i totally agree. None of us want to suffer severe mental illness, anxiety and fears that dominate us, mostly caused by other people or members of the family. Losing weight? One could do that themselves, unless they simply cannot give up food, i am looking for someone who might be able to really help. I also wonder why half these people look so young, i wonder how they get to be an expert which takes other hypnotherapists years to become really good hypnotherapists etc.
@VEGETADTX7 ай бұрын
@@Rosina2727 thanks for the reply! To be totally honest, to this day I am highly skepticsl of hypnosis as a whole. I just can't even take it seriously. Real treatments for me are good, tested and proven medications.

she's wrong about the state. when you're hypnotized you're in the ALPHA state, not beta. beta is before hypnotism - beta is conscious. alpha is subconscious. so much for her expertise.

Hi Nancy, Grace said alpha is day dreaming, delta is sleeping and hypnosis is theta which is between alpha and delta, which is true. The words do sound similar, it maybe it was a mishearing on your part? She is fantastic :) Please give her another chance :)
