4:20 "The theta brain wave state is where we primarily live under the age of seven years old." Wow. I've never heard this before. This would explain so much for people with CPTSD. Is anyone studying/researching this? Also 14:46 "The absence of a problem is subtle." That kind of nuanced thinking and teaching ability is what keeps me watching. Bravo👏👏👏

@MrKen59 2 жыл бұрын
@@redredkroovy I can’t even imagine someone hurting a young child. I’m so, so sorry. They say we don’t remember much before the age of 4 or so, but I suspect trauma is often coded in the Amygdala where our fight or flight memories have a strong physical response to triggers. To be honest, I’m not sure I’d want to know. The past is best kept in the past and the struggle we all face is how to learn from it, but not let it rule our future. It sucks to be honest, and so hard, but freedom comes when we can let go and move on. It’s like time - you cannot get any of it back and once lived, it’s over - so why let it destroy what time we have left? I’m not saying this is an answer because we all have to resolve our own events. I hope you can find peace and healing - I hope your future is a refreshing time of joy and life.

@@MrKen59 thank you , I appreciate that. Sadly I have come to learn from dozens of people, MOST adults I know have been molested, or abused sexually, or someone's ATTEMPTED to almost every woman and many men I know personally. Way more than statistics claim. Children are victimized every single day in ever country of this world. And most don't even tell an adult at all. I didn't until I was 21,and he was having a daughter. As messed up as that sounds. Eventually he had sex with 14yr old, who had sex w all 6 of the managers of her Mom's hotel chain, after her step Dad molested her. The prosecutor waited over 4 yrs & the one time they had sex, she got pregnant, and was forced to give it up for adoption. And I felt like I was to blame.

The programming in the subconscious is responsible for both poverty and poor mental health. Make a conscious decision to change your financial situation and your mental health state, then reinforce that idea every day with positive affirmations and you will find a way to improve in both of these areas. Keep at it every day for at least 90 days and you will see results. God bless.

54:38 Hi Kyle, just wanted to add something to your question on where would you start. If I were you I would write weekly on a peice of paper ''I am completely lovable , intelligent, inherently completely good and inherently powerful'' weekly and try to honour any grief or laughter that comes up. lAughter is great healing actaully so when you were saying that stuff in the mirror and laughing that was spot on !!- repeating those lines and lughing more is even better - also notice that less laughter comes out each time , and maybe tears will come up ( also writing this idea and process for all people and espcially people who will read this comment) its not a flawless method but its certainly moved me through some sticky stuff (emotional baggage and old wounds, and patterns )in the last several years. I just wanted to share that with you and anyone else . thank you .

It does sound as though “Triggers” might be hypnotherapy’s ‘achilles heal’ (🥴). However it makes sense that hypnotherapy can absolutely help people overcome addiction, phobias, trauma etc. Its also good she made it clear that hypnotherapy only helps treat psychiatric disorders in conjunction with psychological therapy and medication.

NDE's brought me here. I think many people need to go there first, watch/listen to dozens upon dozens of NDE's and then come back to the hypnotherapy, which can resolve a LOT of things on their own.

All hypnosis is self hypnosis. While doing hypnotherapy you are also hypnotizing yourself along with the client. Reframing is a Neurolinguistic term. Creating a new pathway in the Neuro pathway to the brain based on childhood perception to adulthood wisdom. Very affective treatment for addiction or self sabotage that are intrinsically rooted in pain, shame and ego wounding. All inter-related.

I appreciate the points made... that practice and being open to learning is key. Continued practice ...the brain is a muscle aswell as complex in many ways. We can then start to learn/realise new behaviours... and that with that realisation we will need to maintain it- like many other therapies, if and when possible maintaining our lives, lifestyle and quality of these is important. Very interesting conversation.

Hi! There is one, actually!! 😄 If you haven't already come across it in the time since you posted this a few weeks ago, Kyle does a virtual hypnosis session with Grace Smith, and I think it's titled, "Watch a Live Hypnosis Session (WITH ME Series Part 1)" or something really similar to that. It's on this same channel, too! Also, I'd highly recommend checking out some hypnotherapy KZbin videos that are just basically recorded audio "sessions" (?) from hypnotists. (As well as some self-hypnosis guide/tutorial types of videos too, and there's a specific hypnotherapist in mind but I can't remember her name at the moment, but of which show the process with others demonstrating, too.) I listen to some hypnosis guided meditations every night before bed on several different channels, and I personally love doing them. Even if they may or may not be as effective therapeutically (I wouldn't know enough to compare since I've never personally had the chance to do in-person or real-time hypnotherapy, but I still have been benefitting while doing it every night for the last several months), at the very least it's amazingly relaxing! It's one of the ONLY ways I can legitimately and fully relax, and especially to be able to relax without feeling guilty about not being productive enough or whatever else like I tend to do, because it actually feels like real work is happening on a deeper level. I don't know how else to put it besides just saying it feels... euphoric? And like it really does feel like the purest definition of "healing". I've been using it to recover from a lot of trauma and PTSD-related issues personally, as well as to do hypnosis sessions on positive and confident parenting, and I've been in therapy for years, too. But I honestly feel so much safer and more refreshed and like I've come closer to achieving some sort of progress in recovering from certain issues through hypnotherapy after doing guided meditations. But if you have any questions about other aspects of what it's like to experience it though (like what it feels like to be "out" when you reach that super relaxed state, etc.), I'm an open book and all ears! 🙂 It's fascinating stuff, for sure!

I wish hypnosis would work for me, I can get hypnotized no problem but it doesn’t help me quit smoking. I must have bought every online hypnosis program, every hypnosis app, and I do hypnosis for smoking 2-3x a day since December 2021. You would think I would give up by now,I’m just so desperate not sure why I’m getting blocked by myself. I did a hypnosis session to reframe 5 emotions I 1st felt before age 7 and still did not help me to get smoking hypnosis to work. I thought maybe buying Grace app would help but it didn’t though I will say the smoking binary recording she has I like listening to when i can’t sleep or cooking it’s very soothing. Hopefully one day something will work for me, i do know it works because it worked on June 25 but I smoked when I got stressed and was shocked it even worked and now I can’t get it back. I’ll keep trying I guess.

I'm really sorry you're struggling to get through that... I've never smoked, and I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is to quit. (I've watched others I've loved struggle with it, and I've felt so deeply hurt for them just watching them try in the past and suffer the withdrawal symptoms and the emotional and psychological turmoil that comes with trying to quit, whether they eventually succeeded or not...) I really hope you find whatever it is that's blocking your success with it, whatever that deeper subconscious attachment and psychological source of unwillingness to part with it stems from, and I wish you the best of luck. I wish I could offer better advice or wisdom or experience than that that would be more helpful, although I kinda hope someone else might at some point down the line on these comments, too. And I know I'm also a total stranger lol, but I do genuinely believe in you and that you can do it. I can only imagine it has to feel like you've tried everything, and I think it's absolutely nothing short of amazing how long you've been so committed to quitting even up to this point, but I really hope you find the way that works best for you to finally pull through it sooner rather than later.

@@celestejones6315 thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment and words of encouragement. I was recommended to go to someone local that does hypnosis but also adds in 2 other ways as well so I’m hopeful it works I go in October 25, if that doesn’t work I’m just not sure what else to do. One of the hypnotist I met with on zoom made me feel so terrible and said I just needed to decide to quit and just do it and if I wanted it bad enough I would quit. I wish it was that simple, if it was I wouldn’t have spent all this money on all these different programs or forked out all the money it costs to meet one on one with a hypnotist isn’t cheap. I say all this in case someone else is going through same thing please don’t give up I just know there has to be a way,

Correct. I think - - I hope we're saying the same thing? Those parental instructions go such a long way in strucuring a child/youth; which begs to my outdated point, lol. Adults (teachers, influencers in their education) affect us. I personally believe that CRT should exist yo trickle down to educators who in turn instruct people and parents. How is that all that education goes down the drain before they leave high school?! There's so many gaps that would shit down this issue, altogether. Sigh.

I'm very interested. I've recently found out I'm a victim of 6 years of narcissistic relationship abuse. I'm plagued with relapsing into substance abuse, I've experienced some fairly severe abuse emotionally, mentally, physically, and sexually in my childhood by a female babysitter, I have CPTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar depression with suicidal ideation, codependency, financial abuse....I'm a WRECK. I'm a bug fan of meditation and guided sleep hypnosis, so what issues, if any, would this help??? I would never submit my subconscience to a therapist. My friend's husband had personal issues from childhood and it flooded into their marriage (he also had substance abuse) Someone suggested he sees a hypno-therapist - he did !! After a few sessions he grew cold on my beautiful friend, divorced her and carried on with his substance abuse. Who can you trust? Only yourself. Its not to difficult to self-diagnose. What I dont mind is one-on-one therapy - no-one scratching in your subconscious mind. That is where Dr. Ramon comes in .. straight forward therapy

I feel the same way in some aspects. I still do talk therapy too, but I've been looking for a hypnotherapist, as well, and there just aren't any that exist that my insurance (Medicaid) would pay for in my state, unfortunately. At least not according to a lot of online searches and from listings of therapists to contact from sources like Psychology Today and whatnot. The best I can do is whatever hypnosis guided meditations are available on KZbin, and it's been helping quite a bit over the last few months, but I'd love a hypnotherapist with treatment that's more personal and tailored to fit my needs... I wish you the best of luck in being able to find one though, and I hope at some point you find a hypnotherapist you can get treatment from who doesn't require a referral or who you can just reach out to and not be put on a wait-list or any other sort of barriers to getting the kind of treatment you want.

That's so weird. I literally have a similar memory of being 7 at school & we had a different teacher to normal who told me off & humiliated me about my colouring also. I was colouring in the halo of an angel which happened to be round so therefore I was colouring in big round circles to go with the circle theme. The teacher told me off & told me I was so bad I wasn't allowed to continue colouring in the angel. I later won a prize from some other teacher for some cowboy I'd drawn. Went to art college to do my degree, & now I get paid to paint whatever the f*** way I like for whoever likes my paintings! Lol. What is it with primary school teachers? When I teach art to kids now, I let them do whatever they like & encourage their creativity to express themselves however they like. x

As a clinical hypnotherapist i would strongly advise to work with a therapist who specializes in this experience. Being a victim of a narcissist can create PTSD. Hypnotherapy would not be the right place to start healing from this.

How is hynotherapy related to or different from EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) / Tapping? Can anyone explain? Thank you!
@positivelyrebellious

Eft introduces a positive statement without the element of relaxation ( progressive muscle relaxation which takes the brain from beta to alpha state) Eft can be done within few minutes while hypnotherapy usually takes 25-45 min . Eft can be done on your own, while hypnotherapy is done by a hypnotherapist. ( Self hypnosis can be of course done on your own) Eft acknowledges the issue and introduces a positive statement but in hypnosis you can access additional information from the subconscious mind and rewire the network of negative habit or a limiting belief.

The tree limbs is interesting. There's a song called Oaks by The Hold Steady. The second half of that 8 minute song is dream like. It's so good. We dream of the limbs of the trees. We dream of the views from the boats. Of mountains all covered in oaks. And we hope. As we hang from the limbs of the trees. We cling to the rails of the boats. The mountains all covered in oaks. And we dream. We dream of the limbs of the trees. We dream of the views from the boats. Of mountains all covered in oaks. And we hope. As we hang from the limbs of the trees. We cling to the rails on the boats. The trees as they turn into smoke. The trees they turn slowly to smoke.

It's virtually impossible to clearly explain the parameters of a schizophrenic mindset in a brief description. The characteristics & definitive traits are vast & complex. Like all mental health conditions there are individual variations & a spectrum of intensity to consider. Basically, a person with schizophrenia has episodes of experiencing an alternate sense of reality. Neuro typical people define the context of their experience as either being rooted in reality or an abstract of their imagination. People with Schizophrenia sometimes blurr the lines & identify segments of their imagination to be an inclusive part of reality. They hear & see things that others do not. It's their unique perception. Hopefully this description conveys a better understanding to help answer your question.
