Hey, I love the Ace Pro man ! The pure video mod is awesome for many cases with really great high dynamic range achieved with the chip and in 4k 60 even without HDR which doesn’t work in those settings as still way cleaner then my GoPro10 ! I can pump up the ISO up to 640 and still there is little to non digital noise 😃 This onboarding here is actually 50fps 100 shutter speed with ISO 500 I’m still testing but I’m very impressed with this thing 💪

I dont see it answered here but what camera are you using? Im assuming the hero 7 with usb for power and then hdmi for 1080p60. Are you using a wide angle lens? What headstrap you use? I just finished my triple setup and am looking to get this type of fidelity for live streaming my races and Love how good your setup looks

I use mostly GoPro 10 on 5.3k 60 fps with battery and can record about 15 min race or the Insta 360 Ace pro in 4k 50fps for long races over 40 min ! In both cameras I use the wide angle as that feels more natural instead of the ultra wide which distorts the corners way too much. Then I record the sound trough OBS and sync in post 🤛

Another great info video and nice to see you race! Can I ask you how and what settings you have set your monitors? I have the same monitors as you have, but the problem I can not seem to get rid of is some type of ghosting. If I drive behind a car and i steer, i can see the wheel arch ghosting and not only that part. A few minutes ago I started ams2 and the collours were way off...probably because I am trying to get the perfect settings on acc. I'm a bit stuck on this one for quite the time now. I hope you can help me on this one brother.

Hey man, is there a chance to have set ON the HDR in windows? Even the stock settings on those looks good to me! I usually puts just the Black Level down to -1 or -2 and have the gamma at 2 and max brightness! At some point of the video in the beginning I show those settings ! I have some ghosting in ACC but that is down to FPS problems mostly! I also have the saturation level in ACC to 70% as is too much for me at 100%

@@chepilevski Sorry brother, i missed the piece where you showed your monitor settings. This answers my question i ask below. I am still trying to get everything look smooth. What fps do you have if i may ask? What i aslo found weird, is in one video you share your new settings for the fov after your new build. when i set my monitor at the same distance as you have, and ik put in all the right numbers it looks nothing like yours. For example i have to change the distance, there where you say not to change those numbers, all the way up to minus 26 ish. and the pitch if the camera i have to tweek a bit much too. Not that it matters to much because i feel that these settings are looking very good but still.

The thing that sticks out to me is that button box up in the right top corner is in front of the rear view. Not only does it obscure the mirror, but it obviously doesn't cast a reflection where it should, completely destroying the emersion factor. How would it go on the left side, sort of appearing to be mounted to the roll cage?

Yeah I knew you used an action cam or GoPro. I am saving to get a GoPro. I have to use my iPhone for now mounted to my head. But it works and I can get 4K at 60fps. Only problem I have is the wide view isn’t the best and I can’t record at night in the game or comes out all fuzzy.

Hi buddy I don’t use any lens and that is just adapter for mist filter I use only outdoor 🤛 The best quality I can get with the go pro is 5.3k 60fps with max iso 400 and auto shutter speed ! When i bring it in post down to 4k the image noise shrink and looks cleaner ! I also give some extra brightness on the monitors for more light!

You can put black tuner to negative 1 or 2 if you like it more black! Here with those settings, blacks are really black

Hello. As i now in progress of building tripple sim rig and have done basic setup (and keep adding stuff pretty much weekly. Video in my KZbin channel what i just posted) i am looking some head mounted camera for recording. Do you have with GoPro or Insta 360 Ace Pro some wide angle lense to get 32 inch monitors picture so wide? Or any other tips expecially using head mounted cameras. Would be nice to see video expecially of them.

It is so awesome to hear you get the bug making onboard videos man 💪 We can give more exposure to this beautiful hobby 😃 In both Ace Pro and GoPro I just use the wide angle without any extra lenses and that’s how it look from around 50cm distance between camera and screen! The ultrawide lenses creat too much distortion for my personal like 🤛

I was testing so that i put Samsung mobile phone with strap to my head but it was too narrow :D So i was wondering that maybe GoPro and similar action cameras has wider lenses to give wider aspect. I have watched last weeks so many times your videos how you have made your rig and few other maker videos to get some ideas. And today i ordered some more aluminium profiles. I also asked earlier about your rig (but you maybe missed question). What is that air motor you have? I am using 150mm fans but they are not powerfull enough if i put them to air intake hose. I can then hardly feel any airflow. So i need some more powerfull air blower.

@@chepilevski I bought cheap Dragon Touch 4k Vision 3 action camera. It is chinese copy of GOPro but costs only 67 euros. Uses same attachment accessories as GorpRo and alike. I will test it later this week how POV view works with it. What i did test quickly last evening it identifies straight as webcam and there are exposure etc settings available and you can get decent picture. Maybe GoPro or some better camera later when i have saved money for it.

Hey man, about FPS we all have problems 🙈I’m barely over 60 with my RTX 3090 and 9900k what I did to look bit more natural was to turn down the color in the games settings to 70% which looks bit more natural to my eyes 🤛 Thx for the kind words mate 🍻

My problem with it is GPU is less than 50% utilized and even on high settings things are not getting render like yours is sharp mine looks pixelated when cars are far away from me and mirrors look horrible (not sharp). I have hue light in the soft box as well buddy! For me the soft box plays big role because controls the light and soften the shadows a lot ! In the cockpit looks more natural that way 🤛

My man I have a question: If I use a USB wheel and connect it to my PC’s USB port directly or use a USB extension for the coiled usb cable so I don’t stress the cable much because previous cable malfunction because of too much stress… Would there be any LAG and/or delay when shifting and pressing buttons ? Is a direct connection to PC the best option or does USB extention doesn’t have any delay and lag…? I have my DD, Pedals,… all directly to PC, only with this USB coiled cable I’m little short of length from PC to wheel… Maybe it’s a stupid question but want to know 100% for sure 😅
