How to Setup Triple Screen ( Step by Step in real time )Nvidia Control Panel. ACC and iRacing

If you are using the bezel correction settings in iracing, you don't want to use the bezel corrected resolution you setup in Nvidia. You can keep that for the other sims, but I would choose the regular 5760x1080 or whatever your full resolution is w/o bezel correction and let your iracing settings handle the correction. I am not 100% sure, but I would think using both could cause issues and it's unnecessary anyhow.

Project cars 2 actually can compensate for the monitors being out of line and I've tried it with 3 different monitors (23", 24" and a 27") and it lined up perfectly ingame once I put in the right numbers.... very easy

Thx Peter 😃 It is hard to say because iRacing have many cars and disciplines and ACC is just GT3 and I don’t have any time experience with the real thing in this series! What I personally think is iRacing is harder then real life and if you master iRacing then real life is like a game ! ACC is bit more forgiving over the limit but generally they are not very different in term of driving!

About the lightning, I use 2 studio soft boxes above my head to try lightning up the dark interior and still try to find the sweet spot between the monitors picture and interior to mix them up ! They actually say that iRacing is made to run on 3 x separate monitors cos when was coded they render there different viewing angles = cameras = screens in our case. Is that wrong?

If you’re using the Nvidia bezel corrected resolution in iRacing there’s no need to enter the monitor width including bezels. Use the number you entered for the monitor width not including bezels in both fields.

Between 50 and 60 will not make difference just depends how close you stay to the monitors ! 400mm to 700mm maximum is the correct distance spot from your eyes to the middle monitor!

No problem at all ! The new hdmi ports are fast enough to hit maximum refresh rate! I use 2 DP and one HDMI in my setup as I have my VR to the third DP port connected! You are good 🤛

I am reviewing this video again as i am close to setup my new build pc with triple screen. Great video with step by step configuration and explanation. Do u think getting a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate is good enough for triple screen for sim racing since 1440p is a little costly?

1080p is still great resolution but 1440p is lot sharper and will be future prove ! If you for 27inch 1080p is absolutely fine but if you want 32 inch the resolution becomes more noticeable! Also 1440p will need lot more powerful GPU !

I’m not very sensitive to refresh rate and really don’t feel differences between different refresh rate but I guess is just the way my brain works! Tearing is unavoidable and only G-Sync or Free Sync can solve that problem no matter what Monitors you gonna use ! I use on my videos always V-Sync to avoid the tearing mate 😕

Hi Franco 🤛 Actually that was the distance I had with the 24.5 inch in that video and is actually very good distance! With that size you can easily set the screens between wheel and base and stick have your eye level exactly in the middle of the screens!

perhaps you have advice on how to easily calculate or test this... 3 monitors, 27" diagonal, 4k res, what angle would you estimate to set the panels? my wheel base would be just barely touching the botton of the middle panel

You don’t need to be really precise of the angle settings! If you put them behind the wheel base that will be about 700-750mm distance from your eyes and anything from 40 to 50 degrees will look nice ! But if you have in your head to use the bezel free kit for Rog , they have a little tool for setting the monitors between 120-130 deg inch means the i game setting angle will be 50-60 deg ! Hi Marc 🤛 Happy to see you are going for that upgrade and I’m sure you will enjoy it a lot 😃 That is the exact model indeed and the reason I got it was exactly for those specs in that price! The curve is 1800r which is super slide and almost nonexistent so it won’t be much different to the flat ones and just saves some space in total! 1440p is required for that size as anything lest then that will create soft picture trough bigger picsels and I have to admit looks very sharp! That model have quite good contrast retro and iiayma are great company with good quality! I got those 3 for under 1k which was great deal at the time and I’m still happy with that choice! Happy times are coming to you buddy 😁

Hi, thanks for the video it's very helpful. I set my sim up the same but when I set my values based on the distance I am from my monitors, I'm really close to the windscreen? It does not look like yours? Any ideas why this would be? Cheers 👍

That depends on the cars and on in game seat position! The screen distance value is to give you a proper game would scale and then you have to move the in game seat till you like your position and as I said that will be different for every car !

Thx for good informative video very help full because im thinking of going to triple monitor setup what do you recomend to use flat screen or curved? and what is the best floor stand for 3x 32 inch monitors?

hi Dennis , i have got mine from SimLab and is absolutly perfect for this job!i just moved to curved and visually i dont see big difference from flat but in that 32 inch size if you go curved you will save some space on the room !thank you for the kind words buddy!

Honestly I haven’t checked exactly the angle but in game 48-49 feels absolutely perfect to my eyes! Thx for taking the the and letting me know was helpful:) it means lot to me buddy!

Great video. Do you place the center monitor in front of the side monitors, so the bezels overlap? Or just push them together?

I have overlapped Indeed! The bezels are 5mm each and I have overlapped 4mm

What is the correct mounted height of the monitors? Eye level in the center of the screen?

Yes buddy, I found the dead center of the screen gives that correct picture view across all 3 monitors

I was wondering how you fix the horizon line going off angle on the side screens, go figure I just have the monitors too low! I wonder of you can fix with seating position in the game rather than the monitors?

Thanks for your video. It was a big help to setup my triple screens. After setup it seems that ACC not shows the bezel corrected resolution. In my case 12444x2160 as result of nvidia surround. (3 tv's 3840x2160) In windows the correct resolution. In AC-AMS2- and other sim programs the correct resolution is shown. Do you have any idea what I do wrong and how I can get the correct resolution in ACC. Thanks in advance

That’s because I’ve heard ACC doesn’t support triples 4k resolution buddy 🤛

@@chepilevski Thanks for info and answer. Little bit strange all sim program have this possibility but not acc. Ac is working fine is I think also Kunos?
