I only got into animation just the other day, and I've watched loads of tutorials and references at this point. This video was exactly what I needed though. A simple demonstration of how to make an animation, rather than an in depth guide explaining every little detail. Those are certainly very helpful, but they can be overwhelming. Thank you very much for making this video, keep up the great work :)

I really need to start using krita more, hardly ever use it. But this just made something I've been thinking about this week easier than how I planned on doing it.

If you free hand it would make it more stylized. I think using the line tool is why every adult cartoon look the same. Good video!

Been doing slideshows to make videos to advertise my books ( I'm a self published author on Amazon) I needed this like a Hobo needs free beans & weenies. Just subscribed and thanks for making this (super easy barely an inconvenience) now my books ads will draw more attention with animation and not just still frames.

this is poggers!! My krita doesn't sync it with the frames, it's either too early or late and when I do fix it and watch it, it's too early!!! that's why I don't animate on krita smh
@joshfump82382 жыл бұрын
Amazing vid. I love how tight the line art is from using the tools instead of freehand. Is that feasible with a drawing tablet or would just take too much time ?
@TutsByKai2 жыл бұрын
Great question! It's possible, but it wouldn't give EXACTLY the same results. MUCH easier to get the clean, uniform lines by using this method!

"Work smart, not hard" That's why we keep getting trash animation with little effort.
@TutsByKai2 жыл бұрын
No. Working smart doesn't mean not caring and creating crap shows for money and filling space. Working smart means tweaning because drawing every single frame is not smart, since you'd be working on a 2 minute clip for 3 months.
