How I animate on FlipaClip (also Patreon announcement)

I finally made the all so waited How I Animate video, I hope you like it :P
Forgot to mention this not a tutorial, and it's not really meant to be helpful! It only shows my honest process of most of my animations
I know my animation process is simple, and not professional at all
And that this isn't the proper way to animate xD since there are better techniques and processes
BUT it doesn't means it's wrong! I actually find it the easier and fun way to make animations since I always animated this way X")

pleuvoir For me if I animate/draw without guidelines all the proportions will mess up and the head and body will be w a c k . And for me guidelines in animation help me guide the motion. Honestly I would how some people do it lol.

Idk how many people this will be seen by but Terenry isn’t saying “if you don’t have talent you can’t animate like this” Thats not the point, they just have an idea and go for it, adding detail as they go on It’s kind of sad to see people be so hard on themselves in the comments here, art isn’t about being like someone else, if you like how someone makes their art learn from it, don’t be discouraged that you can’t do it exactly like them This isn’t about talent it’s about practice and work, nobody animates like this on the first day, this stuff takes years, just keep working for it and you’ll make it your own Sidenote: another thing I’m seeing a lot of is “no sketch omg talent woah” and im not saying that’s not true, but just because people have to sketch doesn’t make them bad, it’s just different, and different is ok, and sketching is ok, and whatever your process is is ok Not very cohesive just like thoughts I have about the general comment section here adios

Oh wow, I never knew how similar my way of animation would be to yours. I see alot of ppl who hv a whole storyboard finished and then line art it all then color it all and when ever I tried to do that I've failed. Kinda glad I'm not the only one doing it this way

I use flipaclip on an iPad I guess I make good intros but the animation part not so mich

@@astro8648 If you click the options in the top right and then click make movie you can download your video so you don't have to use screen recorder also I suggest moving your animation at a constant pace and when it comes to a stop make it gradually closer together and redraw the frame where it stops for that nice smooth effect
