The Bean Smasher was by far my favorite scene the moment I saw it. The way it matches the lopsided 3/4ish feel is so visceral. The acceleration profile on the Smasher works really well. It definitely made me think of a combination of the demoscene aesthetic, vaporwave, and the glitch-art style in Aphex Twin's T69 Collapse video.

I love these "how-to" videos Ben, your work has definitely inspired me. I'm planning to take your course for musicians, after seeing some of your animations I've really wanted to get back into blender and do some of my own. Currently I'm just trying to learn "Grease Pencil" to do a relatively simple 2-d animation..

As a professional 3D artist, I'm always excited to see your animations. Its amazing what new ideas start flowing when you just let your ideas flow and don't worry about what's technically correct. I've spent so much time in school and work learning how to make my models more realistic, or fit some kind of otherwise recognizable forms, but what your videos have shown me is that abstraction can go a long way in getting the viewer to feel something, not just see it. I may not use Blender, but I know for certain that I'll be translating some of these ideas into my future work. Great work as always!
