When you do get 40k, I'm really looking forward to the achievement hunting. I'm missing 5 achievements so I really want to see how you get them because I've been failing for years and am starting to lose hope lmao Most frustratingly, I almost got the Stay on Target and Last Best Hope achievements in one run hundreds of hours ago, but I missed both because the colossus emergency ftld out and I wasn't the leader of the nonaligned powers when the war in heaven started (because I was at war when it formed). I'm still mad about it

try all crisis x25 please prethoryn is EASY got them as the 2nd crisis and were much easier than invaders which were first (they had 50% shield hardening) contigency smashed me though no questions asked with a single fleet agaisnt my 10k naval capacity fleet too much tracking and hit chance not to mention hit points

FYI, I think that those 2 battleship fleets are leftovers from reinforcing. Sometimes when you reinforce, it'll misread how many ships are needed, and throw out an extra one or two of whatever you were making.

It’s irritating to be honest. Sometimes you get a few fleets’ worth of leftover ships when involved in a particularly bad engagement.

It will also happen if the fleet they attempt to reinforce has to retreat or is destroyed.

this whole game sounds like it, but if there was actual computers, he could set up a schedule and go based on that, with a computer making regular pop ups so you follow a set goal to winning instead of this and that till it works

A fun trick with the omnicodex is that it allows you to put pops on any type of planet meaning a rogue servitors who take machine worlds can put bio pops on a machine world. They normally couldn't be placed there and still won't grow but you'll have three bio trophies with machine world habitability which is neat and a decent boost to stability but most just neat.

You can actually pause and relocate leviathan parades now. If you go to the situation panel there's a choice to pause them for 1000 unity, then you can drop them wherever you want as a planetary decision.

I noticed a lot more pausing and micromanagement than usual, and it is nice to see you play in a game where you use the megastructures.

Me trying to fight 3x crisis but being too lazy to colonize every planet then being crushed to dust by the Contingency it was a excellent end to a campaign

To beat the swarm, you must hit them early and often to keep them from getting entrenched. If they get settled comfortably on a planet and start churning out broods, they'll bury you.

The slave market is an excellent way to get pops for your ring world. But I can’t ever manage to get more than one full ring world (4 segments) to fill up, certainly not after making half my planets be ecumenopoli.

And this was before they introduced the option to have EVERY Crisis faction spawn one after another, each twice as powerful as the last. Safe to say I'm proud of beating the 100x Prethoryn before 2400. Aw, man. That save got corrupted somehow and I had to delete it. Still sucks to remember

i like how as the empire grows, micromanagement is harder, to reflect an authentic net loss from ur lack of being able to cover it all which i think hits harder than the actual negatives the game gives

Year 75 megaengineering is fast. Thats som good rng. I got the requirement once at year 60 but had to wait till year 95 till it popped up

Rogue servitor on shattered ring is so good my meta build of choice for 25x crises. Easy to get over 10m fleet by year 2400 when is typical endgame year

Hey Ep3o, if you read this, how about trying my friend's resource challenge? You have to eventually produce food/minerals exclusively from livestock. Might be a bit odd, but you never know, it might be fun.

I wonder how you would do in an impossible run like MATN is doing. first crisis is 25x then the second is 50x and I think it doubles till the last one, or raised by 25x each wave. He seems rather chucked. I can't wait till I get a computer that can play this game. And a Job that can afford all the DLC. I got my fist job subscribing people for a news paper at 11 just so I can buy Pokemon yellow without saving allowance. Quit shortly after, I don't need money, I I have a lot of "currency" other than money for most things in life. But eventually I do need real money for things like this. Definitely don't want to pirate from them. Though it seems like most their games are the same. At least with this game we get to see the space battles...still no land battle fights. Just RNG dice rolls instead of actual strategy. At least if you do pirate, they have made enough money on this one to keep rolling out expansions. So it's not like it will put it out of business. Though I do wonder what happened to Imperator. It seems like the same game but different time period? I wanted to watch this one multi player with Many a True Nerd and the Spiffing Brit, but he dropped out right away(couldn't pull off an exploit?) And so it ended abrubtly, like why even bother do this then, get our hopes up, never buying any game other than stelaris from them. If I want to play a game where I am a King, Lord, Duke whatever and play with armies and dictate things, I will play Lords of the Realm 2. it's old and no one plays so theres very little help. None for the "missions" that are just battles. So much fun except the AI is dumb

Does rouge servitor have bio uprisings like the robot uprising for bio empires?

Stability can create rebellions if it gets too low, but usually building a bio paradise or migrating the bio trophies to a world that has one solves it really quick.
