I hope all is well. I came upon your channel and immediately thought of my mom. She was on dialysis 5 years and finally had a match, kidney transplant at age 55. She was told it would fail in 10 years and so she would go back on dialysis. She lived and passed at 90 yrs of age. Thirty five years later, kidney functioned until the day she passed 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Idaho. Love James Dadvice. Between him and Dr Eric Berg on KZbin, my health has improved and all my Kidney Labs are in Normal Ranges. Sadly, I lost my left kidney. But James helped save my right kidney. I feel for Michael and Justin. The pain must have been unbearable. Great attitudes. ❤

Hello James. I hope u r doing well. What do you think of doctors on youtube who say animal protein and keto don't affect kidney function? Your videos say to eat plant-based protein, so I'm really conflicted. My mother is stage 3b with bp, prediabetic, and slight obesity.

I have found that keto is a great way to lose weight, and I’ve done it several times in the past while having kidney disease. The challenge for me comes from eating healthy proteins, not doing what is called dirty keto where you eat a lot of red meat and things like bacon. I also find maintaining proper sodium levels challenging with the keto diet since I suffer from high blood pressure that is controlled through medication. When it comes to animal protein, I find the real challenge is red meat since it causes both hyper filtration in the kidneys, which increases stress on them, and it impacts your body‘s pH balance. Other animal sources of protein have a much lesser effect on this.

I caught Covid for the first time about 4 weeks ago and am nearly recovered. My voice started to come back about a week ago, but still no Karaoke for me yet. Other than that I am doing great! Thanks for asking.

My suggestion would be to watch some more of the older videos on this channel, start with the one from five years ago on kidney and IF (intermittent fasting), excellent video.
