Yesterday when I took my bp it was 105/71. I’m on Metoprolol 100 mg twice a day. My A1c was 5.3 in July. I’m on Mounjero. My cholesterol/trig is high with meds. Looking forward to Dr Rod’s video on reducing cholesterol!

My edema started May 2023 during my mom's wake (died of colon cancer), when I returned 2 plant/animal based foods, lack of sleep for almost 6mos, stressed of misunderstandings w/ sibs & aunts, ignored the on/off swelling, for we thought it was just bcoz of tiring days & nights. Few months later, while I'm more on animal based foods, salty, oily foods, holding pee (sometimes), I had blurry vision, weakness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nausea, & the swelling never goes away...been to 2 docs last April-May 2024, had cholesterol (higher than with those who have high blood), UTI, +3 protein but 1 doc told my kidneys were still okay 😂. Took meds, but experienced bloating for more than 3 days, cannot sleep, itchy skin, thirsty, dry throat, etc..feels like it was the end of my life. Last May 2024, been to endocrinologist then to nephro & diagnosed w/ nephrotic syndrome & told to undergo kidney biopsy (no money yet for it). June 2024, I stopped taking meds for cholesterol & protein leaking. I tried oatmeal esp at dinner, no salt, no meat, even fish I limit, more on fruits & veggies esp apple, pineapple, soursop, drink boiled herbal leaves. Thanks God, quite ok now less pain on sweeling feet

I am female, 67 years old, have stage 5 CKD with a gfr of 15, last Christmas I was also diagnosed with kidney cancer, my days are numbered unfortunately and I am scared to death of dying :( Funnily enough my BP is low, always has been, and my cholesterol is 4.1, also non diabetic...go figure!

I saw a video from a Filipino doctor Doc Willie Ong internist, cardiologist who said that some dialysis patients he knows or those with kidney diseases went back to normal because of healthy lifestyle (plant based foods) and other healthy lifestyle practices. Nothing is impossible with God and still thankful that my kidney disease (unknown yet), is not too late to save. Though swelling is still there but not that heavy compared to last months 🙏

I get strange red, purple spots on my body. And it's been years and take years to go away. I did have luck a long time ago but, they returned. I also have auto immune disease. So Im fighting two battles and people avoid me a lot. It's okay because, who needs something else, I got enough going on. So if anyone has a skin problem and have the magic anything, please let me know. Spots don't itch or leak anything and last for many months. I'm a herb nut and take natural med's. I had raynaud's and was able to get that under control. I was miserable, especially in the winter. Thank you 🙏

My experience is that kidney values tend to be worse in summer /hot weather, you easily get dehydrated, even if you try to avoid it. Same goes for testing early in the day, you have not had time to fill up with enough water after sleep. A couple of glasses do not do the trick. Last fall/winter, my GFR was well above 50, having been tested later in the day. This summer I am down to 48 and 46, morning tests in warm weather So I look forward to better values later in the fall, hopefully 🙄

Gfr is suddenly 49. I have Crohns disease and short gut syndrome from so many surgeries since childhood. LOVE this chsnnel. Wish I had private contact with the awesome Dr. R ❤

Mine is in the range of 116/70''s, egfr was back up to 60. Things been stable. I checked mine twice a day for first year with my Nephroligist so he could see the track record. I gave him a copy of your book, he loved it. Im on Amlodipine 20mg, olemesartan/hctz 40/12.5, LdL is 100 or less , weight down

My blood pressure went so high i grew an arterial bypass of the aorta with aneurysm in same place that surgury to repair an aneurysm at killed my mother..???? Angiogenesis and atherogenesis is preceeded by high blood force...plus exercise...??? Strengthen arteries...

It's taken me about 11 years to go from stage 3 to stage 5 and I have high blood pressure and I had diabetes but not anymore I got it under control and cut my blood pressure medicine in half, lost 35 lbs.. I'm 58. GFR 10-11 for about a year... Trying to hang in there or hopefully get better. I don't want dialysis or a transplant! I wish you well .
