Markella deserved better. Please keep most of these actors, just reboot the scripts, the story (get rid of those awful 'showrunners' and the Amazon studio's head). Markella is describing COMMITMENT TO HER CRAFT and passion, she mentioned elsewhere that her family knew and respects Tolkien. Some actors did their very, very, very best but Hollywood failed them.

The harfoots are amazing! The way they let everyone die who is a bit slow or otherwise in trouble, is just beatiful! Almost as beatiful when they chant "We wait for you" to the people who only died because they did not wait for them. Laughing about your companions who died because you could not be bothered at their rememberance party is TIGHT!

I gave this show 4 episodes before I couldn't bare it any longer. I normally give a new show about 4 episodes for me to get into it, and I normally do, but nothing about the story or characters was gripping me or capturing my attention. Some of it looked pretty and I liked durin and the khazad dum sequences, but overall it felt very bland. About 4/10 maybe a 5 at a push.

Markella is great as Nori, but the show sucked! Horrible scripts and stupid annoying characters. I quit at the second to last episode. Couldn't do it, didn't care. Looking forward to seeing Markella in future roles.

We didn't enjoy any moment of the show. The actors, the script, the narration.. It is really sad that it is in such a bad place among all the good TV series produced this year. You have to change who plays Galadriel and who plays Elrond. Right now.

I disagree, I did enjoy some of the CGI like the Mount Doom explosion and some of the settings. Its nothing compared to the LOTR trilogy but there were a very few moments that were good. I really love Disa as a character until they ruined her in Ep7 and made her power hungry. I want soft yet strong female characters. You know, like Arwen or Eowyn.
