It is necessary to have a bachelots degree in the same field if you wish to practice.Recognised institutions do not talestidents from different field for MSC Psychology. You cannot call yourself a Psychologist by doing distant mode of education . You will have to have a bachelor's and masters degree in Psychology. You definetly can work as a counselor.

If job is ur main criteria look for well paying jobs dear. Psychology works on passion. You may not make a lot of money when you strat off but definetly you will be able to bring happiness in many peoples life. Think whats that you want to do? What do you like to do ? You can never score full marks or great percwbtage if you take this subject but you can make a person who has lost alk the hope in life to move on. If thats what you are looking for. Please go ahead. Hi Amrutha. Distant efucation in the subject that involve practical papers are never considered the best. Eppol ningal interview nu pogumbol oru full time student anengil ningalku preference koodum chances are less that you would be preffered if you did a distant course.Ningal oru counsellors post anu nokunne enn anengil it wont be an issue but to practice or work in hospitals it does matter. As a counselor you are good to go.wish you all the best

I really appreciate your interest in the field. Pakshe you need to definetly have a min of 5 yrs of continous education with practical exposure to start practicing. Moreover Degree evidannu enh alla prashnam . How well you can contribute to the field with just 2 yrs course is what that matters.
