This is my go to hack for making gray hair look like highlights. This client has this beautiful natural white money piece that frames her face along with salt and pepper in the back. Here’s her formula 👇🏽 Chunky Highlights with @kenraprofessional Ultra Highlift Natural/Ice 40vol I did not highlight her hairline because she had the most amazing natural placement already! Toned her at the bowl for only 10 minutes with Studio Stylist Express 10N/9G to break her base, add warmth, and blend the line of her highlights into her natural hair. End formula using Demi GV rapid toner. Learn more about toning and base breaking with the Ultimate Toner Guidebook www.MirellaManelli.com/links

So are you mixing the 10n and 9g together in the Bowl before applying? Or are you alternating the two different tones on each section separately?

Beautiful hair but she needs a good cut. That style looks best on ppl. half her age. I'm about her age with VERY thick shoulder length hair recently cut. My hair was similar to hers and taking the length off and adding layers took 10 yrs off.

I love this look! However I have been to several stylists wanting to blend in my gray with a nice whiteish blonde and even provide photo examples. But my hair always turns into a a mix of golden honey color and it doesn't compliment the gray at all.

I use one of those hair colours that are normally used on bleached blonde hair like blue purple green etc. But I choose dark grey The grey wolfy bits around my ears and temple .quite a bit turned ash blonde. I'm happy. Cheap quick and easy with no hair damage.

I use to be a dark blonde and frosted my hair with bleach and a frosting cap. Now I'm 58 and totally grey. I want my old look back. Can I just pull my hair through a cap and apply a dark blonde color, using my grey for the lightlights?

So when you do the base color 10N and 9G isn’t that covering gray ??? Or are you only leaving a 45 mins gray coverage on for 10 mins then blending it down to tint the gray to blend??? So confused but I need this as one of my services, usually I just do highlights and tone with 9P & 10T redken lacquers to like a gray tone but the way you did it OMG so much better just need more detail step by step im just a baby stylist !!! Love your videos and what your doing, you amazing and love that you want all of us to be amazing too. I just watched one of your videos on how to do tinsel with the bead rings and was hooked !!!!!!!!!❤

@MirellaMinelli I have natural ash blonde hair that truly hate... when I was young it was a beautiful golden blonde. When i started having babies it turned an ash blonde and curly... strange. I want HER hair. I LOVE the Vanilla blonde but I would rather not have to bleach my hair. Can you please give some advice? My hair all natural color. I also have a chunk of silver in the front that I love. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

@@KatEL777 I haven't bc I wasn't sure you could use them on natural hair. I saw a beautiful new toner from Wella if love to try if it can be used on natural hair tho! It's an N30 I believe...I know it's 30 and a warm golden blonde.

I have been searching for this exact idea for a client on her next appointment. When we foil her, It adds dimension She’s getting more white around her face I want the white to look more blonde without making her white darker I want to brighten her up slightly I noticed the hair is wet at the bowl… Am I correct?
