It makes sense. Stay active and eat healthy. There's absolutely no reason to eat trash during pregnancy just because you're pregnant. Nothing happens overnight. You are your habits. You look so great before, during and after!

There is no reason to eat trash until your body is like that is what it wants. I was in the gym 4 days a week and ate pretty healthy before both my pregnancies. I only wanted burgers and pizza in my first and the only thing I could stomach was cheese in my second. I gained 60 lbs in both and had no desire to work out. I bounced back after both of my pregnancies slowly but surely. Now I’m not saying to eat trash just because it’s there but if there was ever a time to indulge and give your body what it craves pregnancy would be it. Everyone reacts differently to pregnancy and each pregnancy even within the same body is unique.

Except when those foods are the only thing your body will stomach. I ate so clean before pregnancy but during my first and third trimester my body wanted nothing but carbs. I wanted to puke every time I ate fruits, veggies, or meat. So I just had to suck it up and eat bagels and pizza lol. Better to eat something than nothing at all. My first pregnancy I ate so clean, but this second one I'm having lots of aversions. Not every pregnancy and person is the same, so I wouldn't judge other women for eating "trash." Some of us literally can't help it or we'll just vomit/our body will reject it 😔

I absolutely love this video I am a mom of 3 boy and with my second it was really hard to get pregnant we tried for 2 years and nothing was working, then depression started to kicked in and I started to workout.... after 3 months of working out and taking prenatal vitamins I got pregnant... is amazing what being active can do to our bodies... yes is hard to do things for yourself, but once you do something for you it will feel good ♥️

Hi Naomi!! I was pregnant almost the same time with you! I gave birth on January 8th (a little beautiful girl, little Anna)! Everything went reaaally really well from the first semester till the last one! (Ok the last month wasn't very good because as you said you can not breath well and we are heavy and I couldn't sleep 😜) Anyway I wanted to say that everyone tell me oh you are like you never gave birth your body is like before ecc... (And people looking somehow, crazy) I would like to say that I believe when you treat yourself well you can more easily at least get back to your shape! During pregnancy I always (like before pregnant) feed healthy, i always prefer dark chocolate and healthy sweets (before and during pregnancy) and always always excersice! Excersice and walking reaaaaally helps your body! And last one a lot of people saying me oh you are very lucky you are eating whatever you want and you are not get fat! (Ok yeah some people are born to have perfect bodies without any effort, personally I haven't met anyone like that) And I say (in my thoughts) no I am not lucky l excersice at leat 5 days/week I do not eat junck food everyday and I do not eat a lot! So don't judge a person that has a body that you wish for just try to be the best version of yourself!! 😃😃I love your videos! Big kiss from Greece!

I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant and trying to my healthiest version. BUT there are some that my body just needs the extra food. I’m hungry all the time and my body is holding on to weight around my hips. It’s crazzzy . I want to work out 4 days a week but there are some days that my body stops me. It feels like is telling me to slow down. I’m 38 with my last pregnancy and this has been the hardest so far. As long as you are trying to be the best version of yourself, just keep going and listen to your body. You are growing a human. Good luck to all mamas!

I loved what you said. I wished I ran across your video earlier but I’m glad I did. I just wanted to Clarify to those who have commented “you didn’t let yourself go” women don’t choose to let themselves go. Some women are financially struggling trying to make ends meet. Or trying to hold their relationship together after having a baby. Or trying to find some sort of way to give themselves a break because they have no local family or friends to even help for 10 minutes. I personally went through all of this all while starting my small business. I always thought I wouldnt let myself go but when your literally going through life’s battles. No family, no friends, trying to get my spouse to help, doing all the cooking, cleaning, feed baby, eat healthy, exercise, dealing with depression and not being able to afford a therapist plus run the business. I wasnt lazy, I was trying to grow my small business to raise my child from home. I definitely lost myself for a long time and it wasn’t until recently my daughter is currently 2yrs & I feel like I’m finally getting my break. My spouse is more helpful things are falling into place. I actually feel like now I can get ready more often daily. So ladies be careful with your words because some women don’t choose to let themselves go; they’re just trying to survive because of what’s going on behind the scenes.

Definitely true, with my first son I ate super healthy, exercised and I got back in shape so quickly after I had him, 2nd time around, I ate anything and everything I wanted, including junk and just over eating, I gained more, but im 4 months pp now and I have 13 pounds left to lose to get back to my goal weight, I've been eating healthy this last month so I think thats pretty good! Eating right and not overindulgence really is key, and I'm exercising, I really just go for hour long walks during the week, haven't incorporated anything else yet

My son is already 8 years old, but when I was pregnant I didn't feel like eating anything sweet or junk food. I consumed a lot of water, I walked a lot. And when he was born I just wanted soup, soup, soup and eat peanuts, all the time and I produced a lot of milk, every month my son increased 1 kilo, he had already been born with 4kilos and 750grams. Slim a lot when I breast-fed. That is, for your child to be born healthy you do not have to eat "junk" food all the time. I have a nice journey has mother, enjoy it 🥰!

Lovely video with great tips. I agree with the overindulgence. There is a misconception out there that pregnancy means eating for two. Not true. Even obgyn will correct that. You only add 2-300 calories a day, not double intake, big difference. Exercising, eating clean is what the fetus needs. Sorry you have to mention any disclaimer. Hey, Naomi! A first time mom, 2 months pp here. I'm the same eat healthy and exercise regularly ( even had abs showing before getting pregnant ;d bye abs), but my hips or the bones (hope you know what I am talking about) are still wider after giving birth , like 9centimeters/ 3,5 inches. And I haven't gained any excess weight , maybe around 12 kilos/27 pounds total, did you experience that much of a wider hip, how long it took to shrink if yes? Even my tummy is now almost back to normal, but hips still aren't, so that part isn't fitting my jeans, hmm. Will very much appreciate your answer, also can relate to everything said in this vid lol you look great, kisses to you, mamas unite! ❤️❤️❤️

I went back to less then my pre pregnancy weight and my hips never shrunk back. It’s been for years. Sometimes pregnancy permanently affects your bones some. My ribs and hips spread a fair amount. I was told that a post partum tummy band could have helped maybe with the ribs but not the hips.

Yes I did exercise. I work post partum compression bands and other things to help put them back but they stayed. For some it happens in the feet, hands, hips or ribs. Since it’s not weight gain but a spreading of the bones I don’t think you can always get it back 100% to what it was before.
@Maikity1
@Maikity1 3 жыл бұрын
@@bekahrraine1885 I think you're right. But how slow is the process of the bones returning at least a little bit to normal? I'll wait 2-3 more months as they say after the 6th month post partum everything should be in its place, so I'll cry then not now. Thank you for your asnwer!

Sad you have to make a disclaimer.. people just have nothing better to do than to complain about something they don’t need to watch. I loved this video!! You look amazing. ❤️❤️

You shouldn’t worry too much about what people comment ...Becuz most of the time these people are young teenagers who don’t know any better ..these young kids are soo into social media ..and trolling . It’s sad .

Great tips Naomi!! I love you! Really, it’s just common sense. Eat clean and be active. I’m 41 and my “babies” are 13 and 11 and I bounced back relatively quick as well.

We really need to stop giving attention to negative people, this only adds fuel to their fire. 80% of people have good intentions and that's why we matter most ❤️ I'm not really surprised that you look this good after a pregnancy, you're basically an amazingly aesthetic person 😍 who takes great care of their body. Presley is very aesthetic and Jamie too ✨✨😍

Having to put a disclaimer about/on everything is ridiculous! Put your big girl/boy underwear on and grow up. There are things in life you aren’t going to agree with, like, or that might not make you feel good, but that’s real life! Be an adult and deal with it! Sheesh!

I think this is a really stupid topic. A mother should be focusing on her baby not what she looks like and im not blaming women for this because I know its about beauty standards and society.
