Now that I have actually seen someone recommend them, I definitely will be giving them a try. And Heather Robertson is THE QUEEN! I love her. She has whipped my butt into shape. I thought I was already strong and fit until I found her channel.

Amazing Erin! You've worked so hard and it shows! Don't listen to the haters that say this is triggering because I'm sure there are some. There's more people that find this encouraging rather than triggering. You've done an amazing job! We should all be happy for you cheering you on! I just love how chill both Max and Olivia are haha. Just like you guys! I did home birth with my first baby and am pregnant with the second and I'm planning for another home birth. Absolutely agree with what matters the most in pregnancy and childbirth is where your mindset is. Childbirth is such a spiritual journey! When you truly embrace the fact that our body is designed to create and nurture these precious lives, everything feels right. I felt so connected with God. I loved hearing your beautiful birthing story (even thinking about "Aslan"!). Thank you for sharing Erin!

Great story :) I'm currently pregnant with my third. I've been vegan for almost four years and this is my second fully vegan pregnancy. I got pretty bad tearing on both previous births and probably will happen next time as well.. It makes the postpartum time so much harder because it's so difficult to just sit or walk.
@brittneyray80273 жыл бұрын
Hi Laura, do you use oils at all? Usually for the last 4-6 weeks of my pregnancies, right before I jump in bed, I do a quick 1 minute perineum massage with olive oil (I mix a few young living oils so I don’t smell like a stir fry 🤣) a friend had told about it after her daughter was Frank breech and she had no tears! And I’ve sworn by it for my last 3 pregnancies, and just started up again for my 5th! (I tore my first, and never again…and all my other babies were much bigger)!

Congratulations! Such an inspiration! I always thought to myself that if women are to naturally birth babies how come our bodies get so messed up? Because that's exactly what happened to me for my first three children. My fourth was a big surprise, born after my husband's vasectomy, however it was my first vegan pregnancy and it was a huge difference. I am thankful to have experienced it! I felt so amazing the whole time, I felt so light, my belly didn't get as ginormous as my other pregnancies so that would have saved me a lot of stretch marks and loose skin from the beginning. Also my postpartum recovery was fantastic. It was the first time that I gained the normal amount of weight for a pregnancy and not 50 or 60 lbs with 10 lb babies. Keep making videos like this so that other women know that it can be better and easier and much more wonderful on a plant-based lifestyle!

I do breastfeed both. Breastfeeding is ALWAYS super nourishing and the longer you can do it and the longer they want to do it, the better! Look it up!☺️ Typically they say if you don’t have your cycle back, you’ll want to go at least 6 hours between feedings to regain it!

I was wondering if there was going to be a part two where you explain the rest? Medjool dates, pregnancy tea (which ones), perennial massage, did you do EPO (evening primrose oil)? I believe that your story birth needs to be what’s typical in America versus what doctors tell us is typical to experience as pregnant women! Our bodies are amazing and given the proper care, are amazing at giving birth! I gave birth at a hospital which wasn’t the plan. I really wanted a home birth but was labeled too risky. It turned out great and I was still able to do a natural unmedicated birth, but the only difference if I have to go to the hospital again is that I’m not telling them when I feel the babies coming and I’ll make my husband catch it. Because when I said I get like the baby was coming they put me on the bed and I stalled 4 hours!! That position is so unnatural! I will try to fight it next time if I have to. It’s my birth, many women have given birth without being on a bed.

I was ready to be done way before my daughter was. Her last nursing session was at 3 years 4 months, though continues to be a fan of my breasts. I just couldn't see forcing her from something she always seemed to love and the bonding she used it for too.
