Have you ever tried the wide open throttle break-in method? You MUST use a head heater when doing this, run it blubbery rich, make sure to keep the temps up, and I always replace the rod after this type of break-in, but it DOES produce a wonderful engine doing it this way. For a cheap RTR bashing engine, I run them in they way you do, but for a high quality racing engine, I use the W.O.T. method on every one.

Hello Tasty B Thank you again for the useful video. I may be a little dumb but I may have missed something. You mentioned there you do heat cycle for the first few tanks. On the other hand you mentioned that you don't want the engine to run out of fuel. Does this mean that you stop the engine just before the end of the fuel tank (by blocking the flywheel or another method)?

Hello! Thanks for watching! I stop the engine before the engine runs out of fuel ✌️

Thanks as always bro! That's a great method very similar to the way I do it. Never tried the extra after run oil, only added extra caster oil to the fuel I break in with. Good tips 👍

Merci Tasty B. Ca va m'être très utile, D'une part la méthode de rodage, d'autre part le tuyau pour réduire le bruit et ne pas (trop) déranger les voisins:) Thank you Tasty B. Really useful video, both regarding the break in process and the hose to reduce noise for the neighbours. :)

Merci à toi! A moins de mettre la voiture sous la fenêtre des voisins, avec le tuyau et le bidon vide tu ne les dérangera pas! Et tout reste propre 👌

Bonjour. Thanks for sharing your break in. One can see that you are very thorough and meticulous. If you would like a small lightweight muffler to keep the car quiet, I have one for 3dprint on my channel. The link is in the description of the dyno video (only video so far)

Thank you! I dont know anything about 3d printing.. sadly, it would be very usuful in the backyard. Hope to see more videos from you!
