Everyone forgets the last effect on mirrorbox. Your original commander gets +1/+1 for each copy. It's easy to get it to lethal damage range with a few copy spells here

Thundertrap Trainer from Bloomburrow can do some work with the Twins. Alrund's Epiphany is also a pretty good card for this list.

Druid of Purification is probably my favorite Reclamation Sage. Can (most likely will) hit multiple things and gets around hexproof/shroud/ward/protection.

CGB, pls do derevi at some point! I run 46~ creatures in the deck and 40 of them can get their triggers doubled by Delney. Derevi dodging commander tax means you can freely neoform him into toski or if you’re feeling really spicy, neform into emiel which combos infinitely with the land side of growing rites of itlimoc making 4 or more mana. Blink derevi with emiel and untap itlimoc- this can be done at instant speed to tap down all of your opponents creatures and lands in their upkeep. Radaghast is an absolute house for card advantage and gets doubled by delney. I also run mentor of the meek and the vampire version for card draw. Curiosity, keen sense, and recon mission are all great as well. Basically the deck is awesome and death by a thousand 1/1 unblockable cuts is super fun. Should be very appealing to your blue mage control needs

I’m only 11 min in at the time of writing this but unless I’m mistaken a permanent being copied won’t allow you to get the gift ability again, and I believe the raccoon that destroys an artifact or enchantment on etb must be gifted to do so, like how kicker can’t be copied on a permanent

@covertgoblue I have a really fitting card suggestion that i hope you at least glance at. I know its a sorcery in your creature deck, but just hear me out. Oversimplify (3)💧🌳 exile all creatures. Each player makes a 0/0 green and blue fractal creature TOKEN with a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the total power of creatures they controlled that were exiled this way. Its an exile boardwipe that your adrix and nev will double the tokens that are made. Plus its even a strixhaven card, making it thematically correct. I just am unsure if you can fit another boardwipe in the deck as it is. Anywho, love the video! Always like to see you try different things with your content now and again.

wouldn't the board wipe itself exile adrix and niv, making it the same as any other board wipe in slot?

@@michaelpsmith3861 well with any boardwipe, you want to find value to get ahead of your opponent. This one is not one sided, so you will lose your commander. But the idea is that you will have 2 very large tokens to attack with, and your opponents will only have 1, of which they should be significantly smaller than yours in theory. Just because it kills your commander doesnt necessarily mean its not good. Exiling creatures is not common in simic colors, and its functionally synergistic with adrix and nev. It was in the precon. Because the card effects resolve at the same time, adrix and nev would see the card and make an additional token

​​@@CastonAdruluThis doesn't work. You perform the actions in the order they're written on the card. You exile all creatures first and then create the token. Adrix and Nev will be gone before you create the token so it won't be doubled.

@@mn6334 well, it seems according to 614.4, the replacement effect has to be on the table during the particular card effect. SBA's are checked between each step, and i thought they were checked after the full resolution of the card. Lots of rules in this game, i guess its okay i got one wrong. At least it is still a thematically accurate card. I still wouldnt say it isnt any better than any other boardwipe in slot, either. Exile is exile, and you dont see it much in simic.

Cliff top lookout is going to be busted in ten years when you will be able to build an all MDFC mana base so your lookout is a tutor

Lookout doesn't interact with mdfcs at all... If you want to tutor a specific land you could do an "oops all spells" type of thing but I don't know of a single land at the moment that you'd want to do that with.

@@dou9088 Something thats easy to miss is that you dont just get 2x creature tokens but 2x of ANY tokens made. Also if you manage to copy your commander (with say helm of the host) it completely breaks the deck (i dont run any, it was to OP hehe) blade of selves esix, fractal bloom elminsters simulacrum junk winder (ive won alot of games with that one) wizards of thay spell swindle rite of replication (hilarious) gala greeters ezuris predation body of research (so dumb) scute swarm
