Very well done! The end result turned out terrific For the weathering on the red and white areas, are you just scratching off the top layer of paint?

Thank you! Yes, this was one of my first times weathering like this so I was just scratching paint off. It wasn’t too hard because the red acrylic paint came off easily before I sealed it with a clear coat. The white I was scratching just enough to allow my weathering wash a divot to sit in and dry. These days, I still use this technique every once in a while, but now I would probably lay down a coat of Vallejo’s chipping medium before my airbrush paint. I’ve seen other folks use hairspray, but I haven’t tried that method yet. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
