How I built concrete forms on a budget! Here I show you how I built my form work in preparation for my 11m X 7m concrete slab - ALL DIY! TIMESTAMPS BELOW.
00:40 I bought a few large sheets of form work ply board and cut into strips at my desired width of 200mm. I connected the planks simply by screwing on off-cuts that acted as connectors.
*I then painted the ply board cuts with some old oil-based enamel paint that was lying around the shed. This helps to prevent rain and moisture warping the boards while they are outside in the elements.
02:00 Metal stakes helped keep the form work in place approximately 800 - 900mm or as needed.
